Having twins is definitely not safe. Every multiple pregnancy is a high risk pregnancy, with very real dangers for both the mother and babies. The risk of every complication in pregnancy is multiplied with twins. Twins have twice the risk of having birth defects, and babies born prematurely (which most often happens with multiples) can have lifelong disabilities.

Your doctor will prescribe Clomid only if you are unable to conceive, not just so that you can have twins.

Twins are a special blessing, but one-at-a-time is the best way to go.

What???? Since when do pharmacists start giving out concieveing advice?

Clomid is medication that improves ovulation & you can only get it on prescription, after attending an assisted reproduction clinic after your doctor has referred you when you have had regular unprotected sex for more than 18 months and no pregnancy.

There are plenty of side effects with these tablets as they give you rushes of hormones. You will be moody, have headaches and have waves of depression.

"Won't they stick together" - won't what stick together? the tablets or the twins? It makes me wonder if you are old enough to have a baby let alone twins.

Twins are three times the work of a single pregancy.

I think you need to do more research before taking any further steps into this.

What?? If I were you, I'd start using another pharmacy. While pharmacists do know medications inside and out, they shouldn't be giving you advice on conceiving. Even if he/she did, I hope your ob/gyn would have enough common sense to NOT prescribe this drug for you when you don't really need it. What a quack!
