I have an underactive thyroid . I just read that women with thyroid condtions have lower fertility levels. I have been trying for two years off and on to get pregnant . So naturally this is really upsetting me. I would really like to hear some success stories please. Thank-you

I remember meeting a guy with partial Down Syndrome. He expressed his dismay that he never had sex but would like to. Also he said that he would like to have kids one day.

What would you say to a person with Down Syndrome who expressed that he wanted to have sexual intercourse?

Would you have sex with a person with Down Syndrome? Why or why not? If you wont then who would?

What if he wanted kids?

Are handicapped people forced to be celibate?

Okay so a friend of mine is 20 years old and he met this girl who is 15. I tell him not to mess with her but he insists its only innocent fun. If he goes out on dates with her, or potientally ends up being her boyfriend what kinda restrictions does he have to apply. Is kissing and cuddling and all that small stuff still considered as statutory rape? What kinda things is he allowed to do without having to deal with jail time or the law? I am concerned he is a dear friend to me, and he looks like he's falling for her.

by the time I give birth!!! What is the reasoning you shouldn't color it while pregnant? Does the baby's hair turn out the same color or something? (Just a little joke) But seriously, there must be some risk of birth defect or something? Or is this an old wive's tale?

Ladies, you know the ones I'm talking about - they tend to read something like this:

"Omigosh like my boyfriend and me had sex and then he cums in me...and now I'm like freaking out b/c I think I missed my pill this week. So what does everyone out there think am I pregnant??"

What is the point in answering these questions? If unmarried teens and young women are out there screwing around without thinking about the consequences, what do they expect? We give obvious answers like "yes, you're pregnant" or "no, you're not" or "get a test done" but how is this helping?

Maybe some of you have some suggestions on how to deal with these - they pop up numerous times EVERY day in the pregnancy forum and I'm really starting to get down about all these irresponsible people and the poor babies that suffer because of them.

And maybe it's a reminder for all of us how important it can be to teach and promote abstinence and self control rather than just telling them to use birth control.....

My ex husband shows up in my city today (he lives over 1,000 miles away) and announces that he wants to get custody of my daughter. She is 6.5 years old, and always lived with me. My husband adopted her when she was 2.5 years old as her real father never paid support, visitations, and no contact. The real father has seen her maybe 30 times since she was born. The longest time he ever spent with her was maybe 10 hours. He is on his second marriage since we divorced almost 7 years ago. He also moves around quite a bit. He is telling me that his lawyer found a loop hole in the adoption and that he can fight to get her back. What will a judge look at when deciding custody between us? What things are positive/negative marks on either side for custody? My ex just fought for custody of his older son (from another woman) and won back in May of this year. I am so worried and want to make sure that she stays with me because of the type of person he is, (and he hasn't changed at all).

ok i'm 13 and going into the 8th grade in a couple weeks this boy me and my friend really like is really hot. he's black and we're both white she's a blinde and i'm a brunette. we both ride the bus wit him and i always give my friends gum including him. but when i started giving gum and stuff away he would ask for a piece and i would give it to him but now i just go ahead and give him a piece with out him having to ask. he get's off at my bus stop sometimes and he lives closer to me. when we had class together we'd always talk and stuff. and he had this sparkle in his eye. but me and my other friend went to the football game and the other team didn't show so we automatically won. tht morning on the bus he ask me if i went to the football game and i told him yea i was there and his eyes lit up and he start to get this cute little smile on his face. neways he's kinda shy and does this means he kinda likes me or not really.......and do u think he'll ever ask me out.....

I have 5 classes left to finish college, August 2007. But i want to have a baby and if i do now am going to ruin my plans and then i would finish school after i have the baby.I also have to drive to my parents house which is 20 minutes away back and forth to drop the baby of.
