I drank about 4 glasses of wine in one day and I was 3 weeks at the time. I have not drank anything since I found out that I was pregnant. Is there anyone who has had a few drinks before they found out that they were pregnant? Did your baby turn out ok?

Yes I did and my baby is as healthy as can be. Actually I heard that it was not uncommon for women to drink glasses of wine back 50 years ago or so. Not saying that you should do it or anything like that but they did.

I drank a lot before I knew I was pregnant. Up until about 5 weeks. I found out at 6 weeks that I was pregnant, and I quit then. When I started seeing my doctor, I asked him if the baby would be ok. He told me that because I was so young and healthy, that it would take a lot to harm the baby too much. I have seen ultrasounds and heard the heartbeat, and my pregnancy has been a doctor's dreams. I am due in a few days, and I feel that my baby is perfectly healthy. I know your baby will be fine too. Try not to worry, it will all be great. Take care and congrats on your new little one.

Yes and your baby should be fine. That's is nothing compared to what I drank before I found out. Most pregnant women don't even know they are pregnant for at least a month. As long as you quit when you find out the baby should be fine. I talked with my Dr. about this and she told me it would be ok....and she was!

yes, it's perfectly fine. when i had my eldest, she was already around 14 weeks old when i found out that i was pregnant. but before i knew, i did a lot of partying & drank alcohol the way i usually do when i was single. sometimes the body does something that you can't even imagine possible. as long as you don't know you're pregnant, the baby is safe. but once you know, you've got to stop. you won't even believe me if i tell you that my tummy didn't bulge that much on my 24th week just because nobody at home knew i was pregnant. it's like my body was hiding my baby...then when everybody knew...my tummy grew big almost instantly...it's like i swallowed a beach ball!! now, my baby is 2 yrs old...getting smarter everyday!

don't worry too much...the baby's going to be fine. congrats! good luck!

dont worry your baby will be just fine. thats really not a whole lot and the baby was actually only 1 week old matter a fact thats only if you were 3 weeks along if you were 2 weeks along than you weren't even pregnant and that might have been the night you canceived. if you are 10 weeks you conceived 8 weeks ago you see they add 2 weeks because its easier to go off your last period than the day you ovulated . so injoy your pregnancy, dont feel guilty ( you didnt know), and stay away from chardenay.lol. good luck

Yes and Yes my baby turned out fine.

Actually there has never been a case of fetal alchol syndrome that resulted from having less than 8 servings of alcohol in a week.

The surgeon general likes to needlessly scare pregnant women.

If you check the drinking and you country guidelines, the US and Canada are the only countries that have a zero consumption policy for pregnant women.

Don't worry about it, that shouldn't hurt the baby any. I'm about a month pregnant and I am only allowing myself 1 glass of wine a week. Watch what you eat and get plenty of excercise and talk to your little one (yes, even though the baby isn't born yet), it will be okay!

yes almost everyone does. As long as you don't do it after 4 weeks when your period is due, your baby will be fine. My doctor even told me that him and his wife found out they were pregnant the week after they got back from a cruise in which she drank (a lot) every night!

Your toddler would desire to be positive, maximum of girls occasion earlier they be conscious of they're pregnant, with my first i found out i replaced into pregnant in January and could of been pregnant over the Christmas/new year era and that i drank lots over that element, I had an quite healthful little lady. Dont stress approximately something you may no longer exchange. solid success

My sister-in-law found out that she was pregnanct shortly after returning from a vacation on some island (sorry, I forget which one, it was before my time with the family). While on vacation, she drank... I mean, she had access to those drinks with the little umbrellas in them, who wouldn't indulge? My nephew is wonderful, physically and mentally.
