I don't know that I'd call it rude, but it is a violation of the guidelines to miscategorize a question, although I've never heard of anyone getting an actual abuse email for that.

Well quite frankly I think people take the reporting thing way too far, just because you posted in the wrong section give me a break that is crazy. Some people just don't have anything better to do than be a pain in the rear. As far as being reported on this question there is nothing racial, discriminatory, vulgar or anything of the sort so if you do get reported someone is just plain crazy.

Yeah, I think reporting for that reason is stupid. It would be more productive to leave a response suggesting a better category to put it in. But some people are self important and feel like bigger people for it... like they've done their good deed for the day and made the world a better place because of it. Pay them no mind... after all, how much of a winner could one be if they spend all their time policing Yahoo Answers making sure people are posting in the proper categories?

well not know ing the question it's hard for me to say, but you can email me and I'll try to help anyway I can. As for the people reporting you, some people are just out for spite against other people in general, You are their little scapegoat for the day, perhaps they are venting their frustrations out on you because it is saturday night and they didn't get a date.
Here are some fun sites for you to check out. I hope and pray you get to feeling better and dont let this situation hinder you from trying to ask questions again.

I wouldn't worry about it.....the "report abuse" doesn't seem to have much of a purpose.....the reason I say that is because, as we have all seen.....they don't seem to do ANYTHING to anybody who really and truely does violate yahoo rules, and they don't delete the posts either. I say if there is no punishment for things that really should be reported....then why have the option to report
I wouldn't worry about it

don't let idiots bother you. Yeah, I see questions posted in the wrong section all the time. Just ignore any answers you don't like. I certainly do.
