Yes. They work in completely different ways, and affect completely different parts of the body. Unless she's got an allergy to one, it's fine. Spermicide just repels and kills perm, birth control has no effect on sperm, it serves to prevent ovulation and made the uterus not accept fertilized eggs.

Yes if used as directed too. Most doctors to suggest using a backup along with the oral contraceptive to protect again sexually transmitted diseases. Lubricated condoms and spermicides/foams are good to use.

yes they can but neither protect from std's so make sure you use that condom. if you feel like its uncompfortabl use the ultra thin ones they are way less noticable
