My tummy and legs itch a lot when I'm pregnant (this is my third) but I've never heard of hands.
The itching usually sets in once you start to show because then you're skin is stretching more. Maybe your hands are itching, too, because of some swelling (mild edema, common in pregnancy).
They say rubbing a lotion in that you would use for eczema might work - or some kind of oatmeal bath or ointment/cream with oatmeal in it (like maybe something by Aveeno??)

There is no set time that the itching will stop. Yes you itch when you are pregnant. I even broke out into a rash that didn't go away for a month despite what creams and lotions I used. l know it's not what you want to hear but that's the truth of it.

because of the change in your hormones all kinds of weird things can happen when you are pregnant...the best thing to do is go get a blood test...if you are pregnant then all the symtoms will go away when you have your baby...just try not to think about it and even if you are pregnant your skin itches when it is dry or irritated so try an anti itch lotion it should make it better.
ignore the negative comments don't even respond because that is what they want

Itching is a pregnancy symptom but not notice until breasts start to swell then when your belly starts growing then it starts itching. If you are pregnant use lotion often make sure it has vitamin E it is good for skin and stretch marks. If you don't know if you are pregnant or not wait until the 5th day after your missed period them take a test that morning with your first morning urine. good luck!

I've heard of your belly itching as it grows, but what your saying sounds a little much. Go to your doctor.

It is not a 'sign' or pregnancy, but it can be a 'symptom' of pregnancy. It can start when your belly starts to get bigger. Usually only the stomach area itches. It happens because the skin it stretching. The hands and legs...I dunno. Maybe your retaining water or something? It may be an allergic reastion to something also. I dont think its something to worry about, but bring it up at your next Dr.'s visit.

yes it can be a symptom normally around the fourth or fith month. i had that with my first baby and the doctor took my blood for something ( for the life of me i cant remember what) luckily it came back negative. so yes itchy skin can be a sympton or it could be a sign of something wrong( dont get scared sure it s something easy to fix) so def tell your doctor about it. wish i could remember what it was he said could be wrong but im sure if it was something that really freaked me out i would remember. so tell your doc and the best of luck to you. ps try really hard not to itch itll make stretchmarks really bad, also you can try to soak in those oatmeal baths that you buy should help

Could it be a stress related rash? I don't recall ever having this issue while pregnant. Take the Benadryl the nurse recommended and if that doesn't help see a doctor.
