You need to take your temperature. For a month or two find out what your average body temp is. When it raises, about a week or two before your period, you are ovulating. This is the time to get sexy.

1) You can count days. The first day of your period starts 14 days after ovulation. It's not exact science, but can give you an idea when you ovulate. Works best when a woman's cycle is very regular. Example: for a woman with a 30 day cycle, she'll ovulate on day 16 (30-14=16).
2) Take your temp with a Basal Thermometer (not a regular one). Use a chart to watch a few cycles and it can help predict when you ovulate.
3) Pay attention to your body. Monitor your cervical mucous. Hold your stomach, this can get a little gross. It actually requires a woman to touch her cervical mucous and stretch between 2 fingers to judge consistency. Fist few days after your period there shouldn't hardly be any discharge at all. More details on the changes that happen in the source below.

If you are having regular periods, you will ovulate 2 weeks before your period. So you will probably ovulate between the 14- 17. Is your weight average? That could be a cause of it also. But it may not be you, infertile. It could be your husband if he drinks or smokes or you, plz stop. FYI, when your husband ***,try to be in a position so you can lay on your back with a pillow under you butt for about 20 min. to help da sperm travel.

The easiest way to determine whether you are ovulating is to purchase an ovulation cycle kit over the counter, they are pretty inexpensive, compared to going to the doctors. It is actually used to help couples determine the woman's peak ovulation day to increase their likelihood of getting pregnant but it would serve the purpose of helping you to identify if and when you are ovulating at all. Otherwise, a good gynecologist can run some blood tests to determine whether you are ovulating, or if there is a problem gynecologically that would explain your menses cycle problems.

Usually in about 14 days from the last started day of your period. Also, if you monitor your temperature daily after your cycle has finished,,,your temp will go up on the hours or day that you are fertile. I know......it worked for me. Good luck sweetie! Oh and the egg will stay ready for sperm for about 36 hours after it left the ovary. I use to feel a little twitch down there where my ovaries are. It rotates each month. You have to really be in tune to your body to notice things like that. Being thin will make it easier to feel the twitch.

You can buy an ovulation monitor that tells you when you are ovulating at any drug store, also resaerch some on your basal body temperature. I am not exactly sure what it is, but when you are ovulating your body temperature goes up a little and you can monitor your ovulation cycle this way. Some women use it as a form of birth control.

If you go to fertilityfriend.com they have a calender that can help you figure out when your most fertile days are. All you have to do is put in the first day of your last period and they do the rest. Make sure you are under the calender otherwise you won't find out your most fertile days.
