ok......i'v asked some other people how will i know when my contractions start or if my water brakes (when i'm going into labor).......and all they say is that i'll just know.......so i'm looking for someting more explanitory.......like if my water brakes, is it a lot of fluid will i notice if it like brakes overnight wile i'm sleeping or something like that.......how about contractions what do they feel like? realy bad cramps or like there riping ur insides pain lol.....i need some answers, yes as u can probebly tell this is my first baby and i just don't know what to expect......any one please help.....

How do I get my 3 month old to start taking more formula at a time so that he doesn't eat every two hours? He sleeps real well at night so I have no complaints there.

He still takes 4 ozs. at a time.

I know this question is asked over and over, but I'm about to lose it! My son is 32 months old. He refused to wear diapers 5 months ago. My first thought was whoohooo, he's ready! We got out the potty chair and let him investigate for a few weeks without pushing the issue. We let him sit on it and once he did finally pee, we made a huge fuss and gave him smarties. That is as far as we have progressed up to this point. I set a timer for every 1/2 an hour and he has to sit on the potty when the timer goes off. Half the time he'll pee, half the time, he'll wait until he gets up and pee in his pants. I've stopped giving candy because he would ask to sit on the potty, not pee, get candy, then pee his pants while he ate his candy. I'm so frustrated right now that I'm losing my patience with him. I have taken breaks for a few days, more for my own sanity. We have tried offering rewards that require him to be trained, staying at grandpa's, preschool, etc. nothing is working! Help?

I own and run a pet store in Northren CA. On a weekly I get parents ( manly moms) who want to "replace" a pet that just died so that their kids don't know about it. Why do parents want to do this? Do you know how harmful it is to a child to do this? Would you "hide" a birth of an pet to a child??? Death is just as much a part of life as birth is. Children need to learn about death in order to become healthy adults.
Let me ask you this. Do you allow lying in your home?? Becuause replacing a pet that "looks" just like the one that died is lying to them.
If your parent died would you "replace" them with another person so that they would never know that Grandpa or Grandma died??
Please don't do this. Let them know about the animal. Let them morn. And when they are ready then, buy them another pet.

He is a big child and does well on the breast milk do I just start giving

help me i am going crazy! because i have been looking into walmart and target stores online they say it takes 3-6 weeks to arrive my online orders. But my 2 yr old likes spongebob so much he wont allow me to buy other bed and mattress for him. If i say this is good bed he says in his cute learning words "mama no good" ! It has only been 3-4 days after conception(if it occured) I feel sick all day, haven't noticed being more tired, i start getting a backache and a headache aorund 7 every night, and I noticed today that I have egg-white vaginal discharge.. Okay yesterday I had a question because I am in labor, but not real active labor. As for this being my second child I'm not going to bother calling my doctor b/c I know how she works, and I know I'm in labor, just not enough to go to the hospital. What are some natural ways to help my labor increase? Last night I cleaned my downstairs and the contractions increased for a little bit. I couldn't sleep worth a crap though, and I woke up a few times while drifting off feeling sick. I cleaned my upstairs this morning and it increased for a while again. Are there any foods that can help? Walking didn't work last night too. And that nipple thing is a joke for me, it hasn't worked yet. Please any suggestions would be appreciated. And NO i'm not trying caster oil. I am just so worn out and would like to have this child sometime soon(like tonight)!

I was just listening to a report on MSNBC...a father, fed up with the fact that his kids don't or won't help with chores around the house, has gone on strike! Are you ever tempted to just throw your hands up, too, and just let it all go to pot just to see how long it takes before the kids start helping out?
