My neighbors have a child who is 4 years old and they are always yelling at him. He is not being hit though because I babysit him almost everyday and I don't see any bruises or marks on his body.
He tends to throw extreme tantrums though when someone tells him no. I know because I've had to deal with many of them. They are ridiculous and I sometimes find myself unable to handle them. I can understand that why the parents scream at him but do you think it can go to far. Should I contact any kind of authority for screaming at a child ? Idk if that question sounds silly, but i just want to know.

How much would you pay or do you charge for infant private care at their home? In California nannies make between 16-22/hour to go to peoples homes. Day cares typically make 5/hour b/c they have mass amounts of children. Whats fair? What would you pay? This is for an infant!

that after you have your first child, even if you have had trouble with miscarriage(s) in the past, that you will be more fertile and have a better chance at getting pregnant again? also my husband and I since we've been married have never used a condom. It took us five years to get pregnant, should we use protection after the baby is born or just do what we have always done? we do want another child but not too soon.

For medical reasons, my son needs to be breastfed exclusively for the first six months. He'll be six months old in a few weeks, when we'll start to wean him. However, he recently cut his first tooth, and he bites. Hard. The last few times I've nursed him, he has chomped down and brought me to tears. He's too young to empathize at this point, and explaining "That hurts Mummy" does nothing. He does get upset when he sees me in pain, but he doesn't connect yet.

Does anyone have any advice, either to get him to stop biting, or something I can do so that it won't be as painful when he does?

Would you like to see a law in place if you had the power to enact it, that women are MANDATORILY enforced to breastfeed their babies regardless of their wishes. Plus, there would be a nationwide ban on formula and it would be available through prescription only. Who cares about the mother and her desires, right? I ask this because I gave birth in Germany, and formula was hard to come by, so I was basically forced to breastfeed for 6 months and I hated every living second of it. Now, thank goodnedd, I'm back in the good old US of A, and I can buy Enfamil from even the corner 7 eleven. So, would that make you La Lecahe Leaguers happy? Even if mothers were unhappy and disgruntled?

I've noticed that the neighbor kid who is 7 hits him in the head or stomach and my child doesn't seem to care he only wants to play. It has only happened two or three times and the parents yell at their child if they catch him. Also today at the pediatrician's office my son started playing with a large clock that another child was also playing with at the same time before I even got two words from my mouth to tell my son that the other boy was playing with it first the other little boy smacked him so hard it left a welt. The little boy's mother scolded him, but I wanted to choke him. My child just stood there and did nothing. Should I tell him to hit back? I don't want him to hurt anyone or teach him violence, but I think if he would just once coldcock the neighbor, it would put an end to it. He has a very loving nature. What should I do?
