the chances are soooo slim, that they arealmost nonexistant. Most of the time, miscarriages after the13th week occur because of an incompetent cervix, (and after the 20th week, they are considered stillborn) and so I would worry about having a miscarriage at your point about as much as I would worry about lightning hitting you--don't do anything stupid (like stand on the Empire state building in a storm), but there is no reason to fret about it, either. As long as you do your kick counts when you are far enough along, you and your baby should be just fine.

most miscarriages occur with in the 1st 8 weeks of your pregnancy. I had three before I could carry a baby to term. My Dr told me that after I reached 16wks that the chance of Miscarriage was very slim. By 20 weeks, if something was to happen then they can try to save the baby. If the Dr says that you are doing great, then don't worry, and enjoy the healthy pregnancy. Worrying will not help you in any form...
Congratulations on the new baby to be

Bad things can happen at any time during a pregnancy, although your chances of a miscarraige are super low after 12 weeks. A heartbeat of 155 bpm is just perfect so unless you are having problems (cramping, bleeding, etc), I would not worry so much. If the worrying is to bad, you can rent doppler heart machines online like the ones the doctors use so you can check whenever you want.

If your doctor says you are doing great then you are! Just relax and try not to worry. Worrying isn't good for you and you don't wanna be stressed out. Miscarriage can happen, but usually happens in the first trimester. Just be sensitive to your body and whats going on, if you feel something is wrong call your doctor right away - nothing is too small for you to report to your doc, thats what he/she is there for.

Some people are unlucky enough to have miscarriages - I had one myself and it is certainly very distressing, but since then I've had four healthy beautiful children.
Stressing about what might be is not healthy for you or your baby, so don't worry about it until there is a reason to worry. Just enjoy your pregnancy and always be an optimist... you'll live a longer, happier life that way.

I was 11 weeks along and the doctor told me the chances of having a miscarriage after the 13th week would drop 87%. It could happen just not likely. this is also my first pregnancy. Just don't stress and do not lift anything heavy. I bet you are having a girl. My babys hb at 11 weeks was 176bpm.

It's possible. My friend found out what her baby was and still misscarried. If you are healthy, then don't worry too much. Just listen to your doctor and follow precautions like usual. And calm down about it, your baby can feel your stress he/she is thriving on your emotions and body. Good luck!
