that after you have your first child, even if you have had trouble with miscarriage(s) in the past, that you will be more fertile and have a better chance at getting pregnant again? also my husband and I since we've been married have never used a condom. It took us five years to get pregnant, should we use protection after the baby is born or just do what we have always done? we do want another child but not too soon.

I have been on pills and the shot before but it messed up my body and I had a 5 month long period. I had to be testesd for anemia. My doctor does not recommed me to take them.

although it took a while for you to get pregnant this time...no one can tell for sure when you will get pregnant again...if you aren't ready for another baby right away..you should used a condom until you decide that it's okay if you get pregnant again....then you can go back to what you were doing before....good luck!

Use protection! I got pregnant with my second when my first was only 7 months old. An IUD is always an option, it's good for 5 years but you can get it taken out at any time. I have one and it's wonderful...I don't even have a period!

I had three miscarriages and after my daughter was born, the doctor told me I could carry easier, and he was right. I now have two kids and If I was you, I would use protection until you are ready for your next kid.
