She is three months old and wearing size 1 diapers. Since she sleeps so long, they fill before she wakes up and they leak on her sheets.

Huggies are the ONLY diapers that don't leak at night for my kids. If you can find the gigglastic or whatever they are called they work even better than regular huggies. I tried everything. Store brands, White Cloud, Luvs, Pampers, EVERYTHING!!! Only Huggies stopped most leaks and didn't give my kids rashes. People will tell you to double diaper but I think that is a waste but that's just me. They have things called diaper doublers but they are really bulky. It's like putting a maxi pad in your babies diaper. They work for my 18 month old but for a bitty one like yours, they might not be so good. Good luck! I had to edit it to add that the person who said to wake your baby up is wrong. If they are getting enough to eat during the day you do not need to and shouldn't wake them up at night. It is totally fine for them to sleep that long. If they're hungry, they'll let you know.

wow size 1 and sleeping 12 hours a night first off congrats! LOL Secondly.. try Luvs diapers they work wonders on leaks. They are the best diapers I have found yet. Give them a try, if they don't help there isnt much you can do, 12 hours is a long time to sit in a diaper... you might want to change her around 6 hours or so. Best wishes and Good Luck!

We found that with our kids, different brands of diapers were best for different ages. These were the winners:
Newborn- Huggies Newborn
1 and smaller 2- Luvs
Bigger 2's on up- White Cloud (these are the diapers sold at Walmart)
The worst ones for us were the Target brand, and Pampers didn't always fit and smelled a lot.

I would not suggest cutting back on food/liquid- babies that young eat what they need to eat. You could always try having her sleep on plastic with a sheet on it, but this will probably be a short-lived stage, and it just might mean more laundry for a bit. If these are just leaky DIRTY diapers and you have never taken your baby to a chiropractor, I would suggest doing that. If you don't have one that you trust, find out what ones your insurance has, and then call and ask if they ENJOY seeing babies.

My daughter uses Huggies Supreme and she sleeps sometimes for 8 hours or longer and they never leak. For the person that commented that you shouldn't let the baby sleep that long, she will wake up if she's hungry if she's already three months old.

Pampers worked well for us but, regardless which brand you use, you'll probably get leaks when they are worn for 12 hours. As long as she isn't getting rashy and isn't bothered, you may just want to buy some pads that are waterproof on one side and regular cloth (for comfort) on the other. They're maybe 2' x 3' and are washable -- or you can buy disposable ones -- but I would think the fabric ones might be more comfy. Can't remember where I bought mine -- sorry.

You can buy diaper doublers, available from many cloth diaper online stores. Put it in the diaper and it will absorb like crazy! They are not disposable, though, but you just soak them in cold then wash them in hot to get them nice and clean. They are perfect for overnight...no more soggy diapers.

Buy better diapers or change them in the middle of the night.
