My 7yr. old daughter has been having a sleeping disorder for about 2 years now. Her docter says it normal at her age but come on. I try not to let her nap but sometimes it's too hard for her to stay awake from being up all night. She uses excuses like, being thirsty or feeling itchy. Several times she's said that she hears things and I get up with her and look things over with her to reasure her. I've tried the warm milk, teas, leaving her t.v. on, night lights, reading a book, sleeping with her and it will help for a while but sooner or later she's by my bedside again. My husband has to wake up very early so he gets upset with her sometimes and I feel so bad because I don't think she can help it.

my two year old throws anything she can get her fingers on she is the child from hell because that not all she discovered she thinks she invented all the big bad words and I wont even go in to one that she made a song out of that one that starts with (f).

I was supposed to get my period on Monday (it is now Thursday evening) and I am usually really regular. I have been al little nauseous in the evenings for the past 2 wks. I started having some light spotting about 3 hours ago but have not started my actual period. Do you think I am probably pregnant or should I give it a little more time now that I am starting to spot?

Since my ex has never been, lets say, dedicated to being a dad, my son (10) has been raised mainly by me. I have never known how to raise him to be rough and tough. He is kind of an emotional child. He cry's at the drop of a hat. My husband and also my brother have both teased him about being a sissy. A a couple of people have called him gay. This really pisses me off. My step son on the other hand, has been raised to be a rough and tough boy, but he also has anger issues. He steals, lies, doesn't listen to us. So I dont think compaired to that type of behavior, I have raised my son too bad. My husband and I disagree. He thinks his son is just a normal boy and that my son needs to toughen up and stop being a "cry baby". Unfortunatly the men in the family agree with him, and the women with me. Any good, helpful advice on how to even both boys out?

I am only 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. As I was lying on my bed, I put pressure on my abdomen to see if I was goin to feel my baby move. Few seconds later, I felt something. A very small kick, not so sure if it was my baby or my stomach gurgling. Can it possibly be my baby?

He won't use a real pacifier and hasn't since birth. Every now and then he will but it's rare. How can I change this? He will use me as one before nap time and before bed time. By the way I am nursing him. I have another question, it's summer and me and my fiancee argue about this but how hot does it have to be in a car before heat stroke is a danger and this is with or without the windows down. My DIL had a miscarriage, 3 yrs ago, ever since treated for pcos, not able to conceive at all. All tests and scans prove to be normal. They are desperate and helpless.

okay.. so i haven't had a period in 6 months but i'm not pregnant. this has happened to me before and the doctors can never find anything wrong with me... i'm thinking about getting some hormone levels tested soon though. has anyone else had this problem? what could be causing this? i haven't changed my diet, exercise, weight, stress level, etc or anything like that...
