If your cycles are pretty regular... you can calculate your ovulation date. If for example you have your period every 28 days (most average among women)... that means your next period is due Aug.8th (I'm guessing you got your last period July 12th). Counting back 14 days... that would put you at July 26th for your date of ovulation. You are most fertile 2 days before, the day of, and the day after you ovulate. So July 24 ~ 27 is your optimum window. It's recommended that you don't have sex every day... as it provides a better chance for strong swimmers. So don't go crazy and **** like rabbits. Try to give 36 - 48 hours in between. Don't get discouraged if you don't succeed this month. Depending on your age, it may take a few tries.
Good luck on baby making....

Actually, 12, 13 and 14 are all arbitrary numbers when it comes to fertility because they are only averages based upon women with very regular cycles.

You can only know when you will be fertile by starting to track your cycle now. Basically, the main thing to look for is cervical mucus, which should start out pretty scarce and then get thicker and increase in quantity as you ovulate. You should start to see this mucus secreted right after, or within days of, your period. Even the smallest quantity means you are entering your fertile time.

Conversely, after you ovulate, the mucus will become scarcer and then you will experience "dry days." Checking your basal body temperature each morning also tells you that you are past ovulation because your temp will rise in an upward pattern.

A woman's fertility is so much more complex than just "14 days after your period or 14 days before the next." If you'd like more info about tracking your fertility and also need more tips on maximizing your chances of becoming pregnant, check into the Couple to Couple League. They are great and sell lots of good books, supplies, etc. WWW.CCLI.ORG

The book on all this is called The Art of Natural Family Planning (bet you could find it real cheap on Ebay!). My husband and I have used the method with 100% effectiveness for three years now. It can help you conceive, or space the next child if you have good reasons for doing so.

Best of luck!

There is no way for us to know...many of the women here seem to be misinformed and believe you are fertile 14 days after your period---this is NOT true! You will be most fertile 14 days BEFORE your NEXT period comes.
