I have them as a result of pregnancy

Varicose veins from pregnancy should lessen considerably or go away completely after delivery. My midwife suggested a Vitamin E supplement to strengthen my veins and it helped considerably. But nothing will make them go away completely while you're pregnant unless you got surgery, and that's not always guaranteed. And besides, they'll probably go away anyway when the baby is born.

If you have them as a result of pregnancy, they will go away a short time after you deliver. Try not to be seated for long lengths of time, and walk every so often.
Varicose veins that show up as result of natural aging can't be dealt with so easily. There is a surgery that can help some.

A dermatologist can inject the veins with something that makes them disappear.
