okay.. so i haven't had a period in 6 months but i'm not pregnant. this has happened to me before and the doctors can never find anything wrong with me... i'm thinking about getting some hormone levels tested soon though. has anyone else had this problem? what could be causing this? i haven't changed my diet, exercise, weight, stress level, etc or anything like that...

I'm sorry to hear of your irregular periods, I feel your pain! Sometimes my period didn't come on for 2 months ! I started using ovulex and they seem to be regulating.First I would go to another doctor and have him do more thorough tests on you,and if everything still seems normal before you try any prescriptions you may want to try Vitex, or go to this site these are all natural products and won't cause any negative side effects that some prescriptions can cause,tryingtoconceive.com and herbalremedies.com.I hope this helps ! God bless sweetie!

I've had this happen and it was due to an underactive thyroid. Also PCOS...Polycyctic Ovarian Syndrome.. There is lots of info out there on the net! I have PCOS and DO NOT have ovarian cysts, the reason it is a syndrome is because there are several different diagnosis for this. They can't pin point just one. I would have your glucose checked along with your thyroid

before I found out I had pcos I went months without a period occasionally. you might want to ask your doctor about that. there are medications they can prescribe to help manage it (usually the pill if you're not trying to conceive, and metformin if you are).

ive had this problem for about 2yrs and everytime i go to the doctor, he takes tests, makes sure there is nothing wrong, and just tells me its stress. stress can definitely cause the delay of periods.

Girl nothing is wrong with you. Just start a low dose birthcontrol to regulate your period. The doctors should have told you that. Who are you seeing?

If you're certain that you're not pregnant, then something's going on with your hormones. See your doctor and get tested.
