I recently found out that I'm pregnant and since then I've been going through a lot of changes with my appetite. I'm very nauseous all the time and absolutely everything that has to do with food turns me off. I can't eat anything. I have these cravings but then when I go to eat things, I still find myself forcing even the cravings down. I recently visited the hospital and they told me I'm dehydrated and that I have ketones in my urine. I'm just not having a great time eating. Can anyone help me? --

I have been taking Yasmin for 6 years. At the end of last month, I was short on money, so delayed buying/starting my new pack for 6 days. I then resumed taking pills. I had sex on day 4 of the new pack. Would being off of Yasmin for less than a week leave me completely unprotected? According to the new pack (and my rockin' cramps) I am due for my period in the next 7 days, but I am worried. I go for my yearly pap smear tomorrow but i'm embarrassed to admit I started the pack late! What do you think?

Ok, heres a little background info. I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 6 months now and I really do love em and I'm pretty sure he loves me and he treats me better than any guy Ive dated (im just 18 though). But mom tells me he's a dead beat...He just graduated highschool (ill be a senior) and he hasnt got accepted to go to college and he got fired from his job! He rarely has any money to take me out on dates (when we do go out i usually have to pay my way and sometimes his too!)...I'm getting tired of it but i really do love him...what do you think I should do? and what are the perks or being single and being taken??? Please give me some good detailed advice!

this is more of a statement than a question, but i am 24 weeks pregnant and there is no denying that. my point is that all these young people here need to not use morning sickness as a symptom of early pregnancy diagnosis. I wasn't ever sick before like the 10th week along, and it only lasted till 15th or so. So - no don't think the test is wrong just because ur not puking a week after u missed ur period!!! Or is it just me? please back me up those who have been preg. i didn't notice any symptoms other than PMS times 4 until after the second month.
P.S. - all u people need to just get a test and quit thinking u can tell right away by old-wives tales or symptoms that don't occur until later on.

well it all started 2 weeks ago when i changed my pelvic exam doctor. well the doctor was a man and when i entered his room he locked the door. well i thought its normal. the man was acting like he fancied me and stuff. but i didnt give him any of my attention. when i changed my cloths to dose paper once he looked so scary.
he kept looking at me in a scary way. when i had my breast check he was pressing to hard and started feeling them. i told him what he is doing and he said its a new way of doing it, then i started getting suspicous. when i oppened my legs to check my vagine he grabbed me and took of my dress and raped. i was so shocked i couldnt scream. he was trying so hard that my breast was totally red and i though that he has ripped my vagina. whn i got out he said if i tell any one he would rape me harder. when i got home 2 weeks later i found that i am pregnant. shall i tell any one. wat if he rapes me again?

well..i am 15 and sexually active...i want to just tell my mom, but i cant she would absolutely flip...i kno im too young but thats no ones choice but mine, im also on birth control, and she does NOT know..i only have sex with ONE person and hes my fiance, hes also been tested for STDs so im not worried about that...my mom isnt an uptight person, only when it comes down to me and sex...our whole sex talk was this "do it and ill kill you" she needs to just wake up, im pretty sure shes aware bc my bf is 20 (yes she knows he;s 20 ,but she knows he respects me and loves me) dont judge on the age because 30 years ago it was typical and hes NOT a child molester..im very mature in ever aspect for my age...but how should i go about telling her i DO have sex

my loveable STUBBORN 2 & half yr old has used the potty to go pee-pee a few times. but we try & try & have been trying for almost a year now. Daycare & mimi & aunti all try too. Only with some luck but mostly nothing. we have tried books songs suckers m&ms the works she has the princess thrown light up potty that sings & still no interest she is a very smart kid too smart for MY own good. lol i am sooo impatient, i want to go into labor SO bad yal have no idea. it has gotten to the point where i cannot sleep cuz im so ready lol!!!! i have NEVER gotten back pains etc, nothing! a few days ago i started to get slight cramps- but nothing real bad. Today i got one for a long time while waitin at the doctors office!! and i jes got an aching pain in my lower back. did this happen to you!!!! please tell me i will go into labor tonight LOL!!!

A few months ago my daughter wanted to see what life would be like if she lived with her dad so she went there to live.

I find that she is loving and affectionate when she comes to visit me but when it comes time for her to leave she becomes physically withdrawn from me.

My first question is Why do so many women seem to prefer c-section over natural birth??? I plan on giving natural as long as its ok for the baby but Im not saying eighter is wrong or right I just have read a lot about women requesting c-sections so I was wondering why? What do you prefer and why? And my next question is I have made a birth plan and Im wondering for other people that have done this do you feel that it made a difference? I know that the birth plan will not go exact because you never know what can come up during labor but it made me feel more surcure about labor and also its kinda a way for the father to know my wishes as far as certain things. My birth plan is really more important to me for the after labor....as far as them giving my baby formula and things like that. Anyway if you had a birthplan did it help and if you didnt do you feel like you wish you had one or it really didnt matter to you??

My son is 8 and a half months old and I'm not sure if he is getting enough to eat. He's always been a really lean kid, so it's hard to tell. He eats 4oz. of "jar food" three times a day with 6-8oz bottles right after. He hates eating cereal, so I just put a scoop in his bottles. He also has a few bottle as "snacks" or before nap time. my lmp started on 6/29/06 it was 2 days late but over all i am very regular every 28 days. on the 10th of july i had intercourse i felt kinda icky on the 11th like i was ovulating with a touch of crampiness in my abdom. so i think my ovulation was still on sched. even though i was 2 days late what r the chances that im pregnant. just 4 hell of it i took a hpt today & it was neg. i no its too early but waiting another week to find out feels like forever i hope i am i hope i am!!! so what r the chances thank you for ur answers & opinions if they r not disrespectful

I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend since I got off my period 3 weeks and a day ago from today and we used a condom once and a couple days ago he fingered me and I spotted blood when I went to the bathroom and my boobs are really tender could that mean that I will start my period soon? I took two pregnancy tests to be safe even though and they both came out negative this was 2 weeks after I had had sex with my boyfriend and took another tonight and its been about almost another week I think its really too early to tell if I could possibly pregnant and im not trying to get pregnant. I havent had any symptoms of being pregnant lately except when I freak myself out and think about it too much. My periods are weird cause I lose and gain weight all the time so im not sure if I will have my period in a week from now or not because sometimes I will start later and im worried I wont know if I could be pregnant. Someone please help me?

I had a C-section because my son wasn't tolerating my labor. I know that his well-being was top priority and I am grateful for having a healthy baby. Yet oddly enough, once it was all over I couldn't help but feel this sense of let-down and disappointment that I was unable to give birth vaginally. Any one else ever feel this way?
