My son is 8 months old and he eats almost that much, if he's growing fine then it's enough.

What does your pediatrician say? If he/she has been tracking your childs weight/height since birth, they should be able to tell you if your child is on a consistent path. If he was at the low end of the weight % (like 10-25%) and has maintained that position, I would not worry. If he was at a higher % earlier and now is at a low %, I would worry big time. Please talk to your baby's DR.

That's about what my son ate at that age. And then some days he would pig out, lol. But ask your sons' pediatrician for a definite. It sounds OK to me, though.
By the way, love your avatar!

some baby's don't eat jar food their whole first year. I would suggest seeing your pediatrician. and if you already have and he or she didn't say anything was wrong then i guess your in the clear. but you don't want your baby to have health problems so early in life.

sounds like it. you should check with your doc to be sure. also, you're not ever supposed to put cereal in a baby's bottle. keep trying, he'll take it eventually. one of my kids would only eat the oatmeal kind and another one of my kids only liked it if it was mixed with yogurt or bananas. good luck.

Best thing is to talk to his pediatrician. Cereal in his bottle is very unhealthy.

You can't tell by his intake as much as his growth chart. But believe me if he is hungry he will eat and when he is full he will stop. If we all did that we would be better off.
