What would you choose ... boy or a girl ... why?

Of course this is going to get many answers....
If I was going to get pregnant I am sure I would want one or the other, but if I could select that I would wonder if my child would not have something wrong... I guess I feel God has made that choice for me and I better not mess with it, I may get more than I bargained for :) good day

I have 4 boys and would love to be blessed with a girl... if I could choose I would choose a girl...
10 years ago. I would have said no!!! Because I only had 2 boys then...
Guess it all depends on the situation..

I don't have children but after my first one I would like to choose the sex of the second. I would love a boy and a girl.

The Chinese are facing this question right now. So many selective male births have destabilized the next generation. A predicted 4 to 1 male to female ratio in less then 20 years.

I would definitely go for it and choose a baby girl. That's all I want and just one child. I don't want to be like some morons who keep trying and trying just to get a baby of a certain gender and end up with a huge family.

Only if I had 5 boys already or something, and that's not going to happen. I think it's bad because it screws up the earth's balance. In China where they can only have 1 kid and leave the girl's on mountains to die, they have an abundance of men with nobody to marry.

No even if I have had the chance to choose I would not because I always loved to discover while I had a 18 week scan it was somethinkg like a present under a christmas tree.

my fiance and i really want a boy, cause he is the last male of his family, so a boy would really help this family. i would only choose to that if we did not get a boy after a couple of girls. but in our case a family name is at stake.

Absolutley not! God gives you what he gives you. I don't like the idea of playing god. However, I did ask God for a boy and I got a boy. But if God gave me a girl, I wouldn't love her any less.
