When I was at school today. A girl came up to me and told that was wearing stupid clothes and that I was worth nothing. She told me to go die or something like that. What can I say to her?

When needed spanking, works really well. And it really doesn't harm the child when it is needed. I only do it when I have to ( ex. running out in the street) The thing that ticks me off is parents that smoke around their kids. Smoking around your kids is abuse. Even if you smoke outside the smoke that is on your clothes can harm your child. As a teacher it is really hard to help a child when the child smells like an ash tray.

Don't you understand that you are killing your kids when you smoke around them. And you are abusing them, just as much as a parent that is beating them.

I am not a smoker and my husband isn't either. But, both of our parents were ( my father in law still is) and I have asthma because of it. When someone is smoking, it makes me so sick that I throw up. It is gross and it smells.

If you smoke, you need to quit for the health of your kids! It is not fair to them and you don't need to smoke. Think of them and quit.

Some babies are always kicking and moving around in the womb. Are these kids the hyperactive one , the athletes or just normal babies? Can I hear from mothers who had kickers during their pregnancy? I need to know the outcome of that pregnancy.

This term really irritates me. I personally think it sounds very unintelligent. I have always used either My fiance because we are engaged, or my childrens' father. Doesn't referring to him as your child's father sound a lot better than "my baby daddy?"

Today i had my regular check up session with Obs & Gyn..i told dr that we will be planning for a baby after 3-4 months...dr said that if that is the case then let me have your blood test done and i gave 3 test tubes of my blood....dr Rxed mulitivitamin supplement for a year...now what is she going to to with the blood she has collected ? what and when i will come to know about the test ?..my next appointment will only be after 1 yr.

some days she just crys her eyes out. she doesn't want to take my breast or go to sleep i do every thing and then after about a half an hour she gets tierd of crying and falls asleep and when she wakes up she is fine and she is doing great she is already talking to me in her baby talk and laughing and giving me a toothless grin. is it normal for a baby to do that?

I know all the recommendations, have read the books and the e-books, but I want to know from the Mammas what you're doing or NOT doing, including if you've become a couch potato when you USED to work out daily...like me. I'm still within my target weight range, but I have 3 1/2 months to go. OF COURSE my main concern is baby, but I was only 21 years old with my 1st and my body was different. We have been married for 12 yrs. Or children are ages 17, 16, 11 yrs and newest is 7 months. We planned for them all. I have experienced different comments about having another child at my age. ( 38 ) The pregnancy and delivery went well. Our son is very healthy and all the children love him and we have no regrets. Just curious as to what others thought?
