Pregnancy & Parenting - 18 June 2006

I am shocked and disturbed at the sorts of questions being asked in the teen/preteen category. I understand that teens have questions about sex, I just more expected to see questions about, first periods, relationships, kissing, weight problems, depression and general insecurities about their developing bodies. Instead I am seeing more questions like "Why do I like to take it up the butt?" , "Do girls like big or small penises?", "Any tips on masturbating?", "Why can't I have an orgasm?, and "I'm horny, what should I do?". Are these questions from Kids with way to much time on their hands? Are they just being smart asses? Are they just trying their best to shock people like me?

I guess what I want to know is if this is what teens are like in America today? I don't have my own family yet, but is this kind of behavior I will have to look forward to? I am just so totally dismayed at what I have been seeing here in this category. Any serious answers are appreciated.

I had a period on May 5. My period usually last only 2-3 days. On May 20 I began to spot. This was only enough to tint the tp when I went to the bathroom. This lasted exactly 7 days. This morning I began spotting again. I thought I might have been pregnant.

I have a 3-month-old girl and I am nursing. I am a little concerned about my milk since I returned to work and started to pump. I was advised to use Fenufreeek. I did not get a chance to ask my doctor yet. Is it really safe for infants? Does it really make you produce more milk? Does it have any side affects for the baby?

If it is safe how many pills a day should I take?

The baby's doctor recommended Cetaphil... He has a rash in his face, due to heat per the Doctor...

My daughter lost her father to cancer when she was three. She is now seven. I would like to share with her every year on Fathers Day, a few quotes from loving Dads. I am the youngest of the family and have never realy been around babies or kids at all. In fact there was a time when I was completely a wreck about caring for a child because I had no idea what I was doing. Now that I am 26 weeks pregnant, I am around my friends baby a lot more. She comes over with him and he crawls around my house and such so I try to be really attentive about what he is doing and getting into. Like I didn't think he should be crawling on a concrete patio and I closed off the room to the kitty's litter box. Things like that. She said I am going to be too over protective of my baby and that I need to relax. I think that you should watch carefully over a child but I don't want to be too over bearing of my baby. When does it cross the line from good parenting to overbearing?

Or does it have to be 6 months to a year for baby to get the benefits and immune strengthining? Just curious because I pumped breastmilk for my baby girl for 5 months because I was uncomfortable with actual breastfeeding, but I wanted her to still have some. Was it even worth it?

i am a single 27 year old mother of a 3 year old boy. i desperately want to have just one more child. i really wanted to be done having kids by age 28 but that's not going to happen. i dont want to have any kids past 32 though even then i dont know if within 5 years i will be remarried and pregnant again. i just want your opinion, at what age is it unsafe as well as unacceptable to society for a woman to have a child.
