It's a shame. Maybe when she does the math, and figures out that if this trend continues she could be a great-grandmother before she's 40, she'll seek good professional help. It is even possible in this case for her to have a child younger than her own great-grandchild. Yah..sad but true. I would tell her get parenting classes, and her GED. Maybe by the time the 2nd child hits school, she'll be ready to go to college instead of having to see her kids do with out.

No matter the circumstances, a child having a baby at 13 is tragic and most would be the result of an illegal relationship (well in oz the age of consent is NOT 13!). Surely authorities would have been notified of the first pregnancy and if this child was to have another baby it shows shes been let down by the system by lack of education and protection from those vile creatures who prey on underage girls

OK.. well that's what I think.. I can't wait to see the responses from this.. ha...

I think that she should have gotten an IUD after the first one. I also think there is something else going on in her life. SHe should be bike riding or playing volleyball, not having babies.

It is a great hardship for a young girl. It would be hard to believe and accept . I hope she has her family to support her.
