Get your IVF-invitro fertilisation treatment in India .IVF treatment ,IUI,ICSI,artificial insemination and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of medical treatment andsurgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as some of the surgery including ivf treatment is not covered by insurance.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your IVF treatment can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The doctors are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.I recently also read about a chinese couple facilitated by forerunners healthcare were able to get their baby by IVF and a surrogate mother.
my cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full treatment for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.I strongly recommend this company to you as they can be of great help to you.hope this helps

Hello, I just ran across your message...........& YES!!! you CAN get preg. by doing insemination yourself!!! But I would URGE ANYONE that is thinking about doing this to do ALOT of research....ask/talk to doctors...AND talk to "others" that are or have done this in the past.
My husband and I DESPERATELY want a child, I have a son, which turned 14y.o. this past Friday,(June 16th). But my husband doesn't have ANY of his own/"bilogically", even though he considers my son to be his own. I had to have a TOTAL hysterectomy when I was ONLY 23y.o., so I am unable to have anymore of my own. We have been trying to adopt for the past year and a half now, with no luck, so we now have a surrogate that is "donating" HER egg and we are inseminating her with my husband's sperm. We've done a total of 7 inseminations thus far! We are actually thinking, and so is she, that she might already be preg.!!!! I SURE HOPE & PRAY SO!!!! But like I said, I recommend anyone interested in doing this, to do LOOOTTTSSS of research first, you TRUELY need to know what you are doing. In the beginning of all this, when we were just 'THINKING" about doing "AT-HOME-INSEMINATION", I had talked to several other surrogates that had concieved this same way, and realized real fast, that it is sorta becoming the "norm" and more common than I ever thought with surrogates now, rather than spending thousands of dollars for a fertility doctor to do for you, WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!! So, we are giving it a try!!! We'll see in about another week or so if she is REALLY/FOR SURE pregnant or not! I hope this help you or anyone else that is thinking about doing this.
TAKE CARE, HOPE

as a surrogate I am well versed in artificail insemination and there are two ways to do it .
you have to know when your ovulating you can do this by taking your temp to 2 decimal places before you do anyting in the morning . even before you get out of bed. it rises a bit when you are ovulating. . you can also buy ovulation predictor tests .
you can do it using a syringe that is used for childrens medicine in this case you need to lay down with your hips slightly evevated and inject the semen slowly into your vagina making sure it coats the cervix. you need to remain laid down for at least 30 minutes after to stop it running out.
alternativly you can use something called and instead cup and have the sample in that . its really easy to use and you insert it so that it sits under your cervix with the semen in . the advantage of this method is that you can get up and move around imediatly afterwards . I know several people who have got pregnant with one try using this method
there is lots of advice on charting your temp and the instead cup available just do a google search.
hope that helps

If you could do AI yourself, all you'd have to do was have sex.
All kidding aside, it's a tricky procedure. The sperm is inserted, I believe, through a catheter.
I never had this procedure done, but I did have friend who did. Her husband had problems with erections, so they had to freeze his sperm, and then "thaw" it when they knew she was ovulating.
They did tons of blood tests and hormones to ensure and know exactly when she was ovulating.
Once that was done, she conceived twins, but one died in utero, and the other baby thrived, and he's going to be 6 next month.
It just really depends on the monitoring...some people, bless their hearts, just can't concieve.
Then you have some people, like me, who can conceive at the drop of a hat, but can't carry a baby to term.

Semen has to be preserved under critical conditions ,under low temperature and it has to be put inside uterus at the time of ovulation. This can be effectively done in a hospital only.Hospials keep the donor's identity as a secret. You can yourself do only through direct sex only by trial and error on possible dates of ovulation, provided the other party is agreeable and you donot want to keep secrecy of donor. In that case it cannot be called"artficial"

Yes you can do it yourself-- provided u have a willing person to donate their sperm. Also it's well worth doing it on the exact day when u ovulate to increase your chances. You can get a turkey baster and use that to inject it into u know where. Afterwards make sure u just lay stil for a while ---And relax!!

It has a good success rate, a few eggs are fertilized and replaced, then one or two take, yhis is why you have more twins and triplets with this method.
Obviously, if you were in a couple, the result may bare no resemblance to male partner if a donor is used.

It can, if you know exactly what you are doing. However, you do run a lot of risks in doing it yourself...infection being one of them.
Please...I know it's expensive, but I think it's worth the money to have a doc do it professionally.

Re: Jimbo's answer - what jimbo is talking about is in vitro fertilization, not artficial insemination. BIG difference.
