I'm not a conspiracy theorist and this isn't about whether or not they did it.
It's about whether you actually think your government would do something like this to galvanize the American public behind their cause?

I don't care one way or another if they did it , let it happen or not as I'm not unfortunate enough to be an American. Thats an issue for you to sort out.
I just simply want to know if you think it is beyond your government morally to do something so underhanded as that.

Do Americans instruct the government what they think the government should do or is Hillary the great self-enttled queen handing out little gifts to all the little people?

"Where did I put that pre-k education g i f t to the people?"

Are these all real problems that Americans expect their government to get up off it's rump and join in and do some things about, or this is really just part of a Christmas wish-list we hope Santa-Claus-Hillary will give us if all the little people haven't been too naughty, but nice?

****The destruction in late 2005 of the tapes, showing harsh treatment of two terrorism suspects, is being investigated by the Justice Department, the CIA itself and by several congressional panels.

Bush stuck to the White House line that he personally did not know about either the existence of the tapes or their destruction until he was briefed earlier this month by CIA Director Michael Hayden.****

I want to believe him, but didn't he say the same exact thing about who leaked Valerie Plame's identity ?

I think he's pulling the old..."I don't remember" routine...

Plausible deniability ?...or do you think he's telling the truth this time ?

or more to the point...why Democrats have not repudiated support from such questionable quarters?

Via the Communuist Party website:

Voters expect Democratic candidates to take strong positions against never-ending war and for universal health care

The Democratic candidates represent a spectrum, with Dennis Kucinich offering the most advanced program, Richardson strong on withdrawal from Iraq and repeal of No Child Left Behind, Edwards strong on issues of poverty and labor rights, Obama strong on issues of equal rights and opportunity, and Clinton with a strong appeal to women

Our focus is on the issues rather than the personalities,
placing pressure from below to move the candidates to
stronger positions. Our focus is on defeating the
right-wing Republicans in November
