Giuliani

I think we should make it very, very clear that we understand that we can both engage a country, commercially, like we are doing with Russia, or at the same time, we can be very, very firm in our own defense. Ronald Reagan gave us the best answer to how to deal with these situations. The answer is a very, very strong military that no other country on earth would ever consider challenging. ... Right now, an increase in military spending, increasing the size of our military in all aspects in a sensible way, would send a heck of a signal both to Russia and to China to not think about challenging us down the road.

Sunday, December 20, 1998, was a good day for headlines. The Boston Sunday Globe bannered “Clinton is Impeached.” The New York Times, perhaps moved by the president’s well-known perplexity with the copulative verb, shortened this to “Clinton Impeached,” but added a coast-to-coast subhead: “He Faces Senate Trial, 2D in History; Vows To Do His Job Till Term’s ‘Last Hour.’” (He did just that, pardoning a passel of crooks, including the world-class swindler Marc Rich then on the lam in Switzerland, but let me not wander…) If December 20, 1998, had heart-warming headlines, it had even better photographs.

i hear all this bull all the time on tv about "Palestinian land" so i decised to read about it.

i found out that it was the british that named the area Palestine during their colonial control.

According to Martin Gilbert(British historian), 50,000 Arabs immigrated to Palestine from the neighboring lands between 1919 and 1939 "attracted by the improving agricultural conditions and growing job opportunities, most of them created by the Jews". i heard that the king of saudi arabia also expelled some political prisioners.

i am still researching.

but whats your Opinion

Do they even know or is it a fashionable hatred?

All I ever see for reasons is her looks.
I never see a good reason.
Of course the pro big business republican crowd hates her socialized medicine ideas.
And those that are in love with the military hate her because she wants to pull them out and some soldiers might lose their soldiering job.

So what are some real reasons?

Again... like I said.. I can't vote either way , I'm just curious.

But your choice will affect the rest of the world in either a positive or negative way.
The world cant handle another republican.

Even though he has lied a lot, much of George Bush's trickery and deceit are in the form of half truths, twisted facts, propoganda and bias. Can't you just admit that he has done this, maybe most of the time he does not flat out lie, but he DOES shamelessly bend and twist the truth to mislead Americans so he can go through with his agenda ? Do you believe intentionally and shamelessly misleading Americans is something a president should do?

Total earmarks for the previous Republican congress were about $29 billion dollars. Democrats have cut that figure to between $10 and $15 billion (depending on who's counting).

Why were they able to do this, while the Republicans couldn't (or wouldn't)?

You guys think that the white house controls the US media! It's the exact opposite! I find it really funny when you think that the government is telling Katie Couric to support them, if it was that way, she would have been "secretly executed" by now.
