There were several fires set in the bathrooms of the Capital Building recently. I haven't heard if the fire in Cheney's office was arson or not. Too many strange things happen where Cheney is involved.

No,It was electrical,probably an overload from too many paper shredders running at one time. Cheney was not there,he had to secure an alibi. He did show up pretty fast,so where was he.

That was my first thought too. Although, I would have to agree that it probably was staffers who did the fire, so he wouldn't be implicated.
Just like Building 7...too much info to destroy rich people.

It wasn't Cheney himself it was members of his staff. They weren't burning documents they were shredding evidence and the shredder overheated from so much use.
