I do not believe that he is either from Texas or Connecticut. George Bush was born in Hell.

If you are raised in Texas, it's not pretending to say that's where you're from, even if you weren't born there. I'm not a fan of W either but you can definitely hear that TX "twang" in his slurred speech. Check out the hilarious video below.

The place you were born is often irrelevant. Just ask the army brats (no insult intended) that you know. People identify more with where they lived when they came to the sense of who they are. George W. lives large, has a big hat, owned a baseball team, knows all the oil barrons by first names. Yep, he's a Texan.

Being born somewhere is different than growing up there. I was born in California, but I'm from Virginia. I find it odd that you have no problem with Hillary Clinton claiming New York as home, but you have a problem with the former governor of Texas claiming Texas as such.

I lived in Texas while Bush was Governor and never heard one time he say he was from Texas but that Texas was his home.
You are hearing that from others that do not know the correct information.

Yes.
Because No One would admit to being from Connecticut!!!
That would end anyone's political career.
If you were born in Connecticut, you might as well put a sign around your neck that says: "Loser".
Ask Cris Dodd. Hillary is stomping that little Commie.
But..... being from Texas gets Respect from all over the World.
