Why do they feel the need to lie and cheat?
Why can't they just be honest about who they are and what they believe and why does their operatives in the media feel the need to cheat FOR them?

How do you feel about a president who stands up, with generals and admirals on either side of him, and says that unless the senate fully funds the war in Iraq he will layoff civilians and cancel civilian contracts with the military.
Bush says this is the only way to have enough money to keep the war going...

Is this political blackmail or more bullying by a military machine?

Your thoughts?

Hello,
I am in a debate proving that single issue groups DO have too much influence in public policy making.

*Does anyone know any recent occurences in the U.S. when a single issue group influenced public policy (election, a vote, campainging, etc.) because they have too much influence?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

They present people with questions for the Republican candidates as "undecided", average concerned Americans yet: The log cabin repuclican supporter David Cercone is an Obama supporter...LeeAnn Anderson is a John Edwards activist..Brig. Gen. Keith Kerr is a Hillary/Kerry supporter..Journey, who asked the abortion question is a declared Edwards supporter..one other "undecided" quetioner is a former CAIR intern (Councilon American-Islamic Relations)
Is lying and cheating just part of the liberal mindset that we all have to except?

Sad but inevitable to see the various Liberal losers pointing the finger at all in their party, except themselves isn't it?

Pete seems to be the latest and I'm sure, not the last.

I heard a bit about this new book called the Shock Doctrine, and the author I believe is Naomi Klein. It explains it all very well. It basically will show you that all the bad stuff you see going on with our economy is really planned, and that there are people who stand to profit greatly from when america goes totally down the toilet, and they are waiting in the wings ready to seize the moment. Hint: Hitler rose to power because of the bankrupt germany and the need for a fatherly figure to save them.

In the 50's ( half a century ago) we started doing experiments with rats in a cage

Put to many in and they start eating each other - No matter the food and water supply - the population density per square foot reaches X and disaster follows

So they did experiments with humans - No no one ate each other - but temper flared fist fights and so on happened

Too many people per square mile = anger violence and so forth

Ok fair enough - Why is it then that we act all surprised when it happens ?

Population density in cities jails and so on go up and so does violence - It is not the sole cause - no not at all but it is a known cause and a big one -

A good analogy is we know smoking causes cancer - no surprise - so no one acts surprised when a smoker gets cancer it is at least openly talked about

But when over crowded humans react as we know they will we ignore it and make the same error over and over

Why?

Some politicians are promoting an increase in our consumption taxes as a means of doing away with the tax code. Getting rid of the IRS would save America $300B a year according to some estimates.

This is a serious question. Please provide some thoughtful answers. Should the IRS be abolished?

I'm not anti-Bush or anything, but when so many people vote conservative strictly for the pro-life agenda, I need to know what the president has actually done to stop abortions. I really just don't know, so don't be critical.

Many will argue that abortion IS murder. I will not go into that but is it better to end a life painlessly, or should the life proceed into a life of misery and a life that they aren't wanted in? Should the chick be eaten as an egg painlessly, or should we let it grow into a chicken that serves no purpose?
