I have been paying more attention to him as well..I like the fact he is the only republican set on bringing our troops home...he also seems to be a straight shooter...he doesn't dip and dodge the questions like others do...I would rather vote for someone who is honest and straightforward than someone who tries to be Mr. "perfect" to everyone....So I am strongly considering him...several of my friends actually peaked my interest in him by posting youtube videos of him on their myspace sites...

I for One, Do in other forums yell this to the WORLD! I am looking at Ron Paul and Obama. I have thought of running myself lol My international and American shills are not of Greed but Love and Hope for a better tomorrow. This is a Quality I see in both of these men.
I don't have enough conviction for iether to be a grand stander in their run for office However; If I did I would put the same effort into it as I do trying to get Bush charged with War Crimes and At The Very Least removed from office as a lot can happen in a year?
It sicken's me to see a "Free Nation" sitting and doing nothing to make a change by doing all they are allowed and able to do to make Needed change. My goal as I watch the debates is to decide whom will be best, my mind has not been made up on the candidates thus far.
Please? I know you will get many jokes of non-since on this question. Yet I pray One person who does read will realize the importance of doing everything possible to make things happen in your favor. At least if all goes sour you know you did what you could and used your rights as an American. xxoo

I usually don't go for Republicans since I grew up in a very liberal household. However, in this day and age, where Republicans and Democrats can't even come up with a common solution to the problems facing America, Ron Paul I think would be able to. He seems to be open to new ideas, and as a Doctor, he understands and hopefully will be able to solve the healthcare mess that Republicans and Democrats aren't able to do.
He want's to get out of Iraq, as well as have a better foreign policy. All the Republicans want to do is attack countries that disagree with us, and the Democrats don't. Ron Paul wants to open up dialogue with those countries, and try to settle our differences in a peaceful manner.

Ron Paul is too much of an isolationist. I disagree with his desire to pull all of our military troops home and return to an isolationist posture that did us a great disservice in the past. That philosophy led to both World Wars and the Great Depression.
I do not hate the man. I do not hate his supporters and I do not make fun of you for being impressed by him. He is an impressive man. He is simply wrong on this fundamentally important issue.
It is not surprising that young people who have never experienced the folly of isolationism tend to support him while older people who have been there and done that do not.

Dr. Paul does basically a few things different which make him stand out.
1. He doesn't Beat around the bush. (No pun intended)
2. He doesn't Bullshit
3. He actually knows what he is talking about (Imagine that)
4. He realizes we are in need of major change
5. He follows the constitution (that yellow piece of crumbling paper, yeah that thing)
Basically, hes the man, so Go Ron Paul. I can assure you, if Ron Paul got as much media attention as Giuliani, or Clinton, he would be a top tier candidate, and a very likely, our next president. Not to say he cant still be ;-)

Ron Paul is my favorite Republican running for president because he is one of a dozen republicans that knows that the Iraq War is a loser, but his ideas about economy belong in the 1800 hundreds and were finally abolished in the 1930's, thank god.
Ron Paul is a modern economic throwback graphed with a real christian.

Ron Paul is dishonest about his claim that he's not an isolationist. He says he's a "non-interventionist"...... Don't buy it, he wants to declare defeat in Iraq and isolate America from the rest of the world. Bad ideas!

he's against the war. is the only rep. who thinks our foriegn policy is insane. for reasons too long to explain here, kucinich believes all the things ron paul does without the anti abortion, pro gun libertarianism. i think hes the best of the republicans but not all candidates. kucinich ftw.
