Last week, i was answering a question about "Universal" health care. I basically said it was socialism. and this is the stupid question i got in return."well if socialism is sooo bad then why do we have social security?" Do people acctualy think this way? do they not read, or pay attention to their country? If they did tehy would know how social security is unsistanable, as is socialism,in any form. From "Universal" Healthcare to social security. here is a link to that question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ap_hit2AirjUrSIgvex5ofHty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071120081620AALF0Yh&show=7#profile-info-98TGHjEaaa

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Joe Biden is complaining that his foes keep saying he'd be a great secretary of state.

Nothing wrong with that job, he says, but he's running for president. And if he'd be better at foreign policy than his rivals, well, why in the world shouldn't he be president instead of them?

"I ask you a rhetorical question: Are you prepared to vote for anyone — at this moment in our history — as president who is not capable of being secretary of state? Who among my opponents would you consider appointing secretary of state? Seriously. Think about it."

In other words, the Democrat front runners are all foreign policy LIGHTWEIGHTS (e.g. Hillary, Obama)

Ban all religion based political parties which tend to be introspective and regressive . This should be enshrined in law and any countries with religous governments should be marginalised and banned from the UN, EU, NATO and all other international organisations.

Why did they not ban gay marriage or outlaw abortion at that time?

After all, these have been the issues that they focus on the most when campaigning to get elected.

Were that afraid that the religious right would no longer have a reason to vote republican if they fulfilled their campaign promises?

that marijuana is illegal. its completely natural. who the hell is the government to tell me i can't use a plant that grows naturally. maybe people will open up their eyes when corn and tomatoes are being outlawed. go ahead and laugh. but know that while you are, the government is plotting to take control over everything you do. its time we woke up. its up to us to keep our privacy, its up to us to keep our rights. we are becoming less and less free everyday. even as i type, freedom is becoming illusory.

Everyone is always trying to not offend someone or something. It makes it so you have to watch everything you say in fear of being sued for some hate or racist thing.
Don't you think that in order to run the country well, you can't worry about EVERYONE all the time?

Today it seems absurd to suggest that the United States has the right to go around attacking countries to "spread freedom".

But Imperial Washington was parroting this only a few years ago...and no one has been held accountable. Many of them are running for President, in fact.

Wouldn't that make them stop the genocide? No need to commit troops or peacekeepers. Just scare the crap out of them.

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
