Everyone is always trying to not offend someone or something. It makes it so you have to watch everything you say in fear of being sued for some hate or racist thing.
Don't you think that in order to run the country well, you can't worry about EVERYONE all the time?

it's entirely possible.

after all, i have to assume that it's "political correctness" that prevents ordinary people and even Congresspeople from calling Bush a LIAR and a war criminal.

with a society that isn't even allowed to call treachery what it is, we are in danger for certain.

What nonsense! If you need to think before saying something sexist or racist, you should work on your own state of mind and psychological problems. Offending others with rude arrogant statements is an indication of low intelligence and shows up a poor leader. No-one seriously should want to return to racism, sexism etc, society should progress and political correctness should be no effort for an intelligent, ethical person, it should be natural.

Political correctness will help mislead America. I understand and accept the need to be cordial in general. But this newspeak age that we live in is no good. Not being able to speak out or give valid criticism is rubbish. It's too easily used as a weapon against free thought. Personally,I try to be as politically incorrect as possible.

Political correctness won't destroy America if we don't let it. If someone suffers unreasonable consequences, like being sued, we must speak out against it. You're right. We can't worry about everyone all the time. If you have something to say, just say it and don't let anyone shoot you down.

Well, it depends on how you look at it.
Political Correctness actually originated in the Soviet Union. I suggest you read "The Origins of Politicall Correctness" by Bill Lind

I look at Political Correctness as a Marxist Tactic to tear down American/Western Culture in order to create an environment where the Socialist Worker's Revolution can occur and succeed, when it had failed so many times before.

Nah. George is pretty far from political correctness and he's doing a pretty good job of destroying America.
