If you follow the path of civilization, the simple answer is "no". Religeous beliefs, political differences and the need to expand ones boundaries make conflict a reality. No two dissimilar cultural groups have been able to co-exist peacefully within the same region for any reasonable time period throughout the history of man. Borders, whether political or physical, have always been violated.

Unfortunately, I don't think this would work. I wish it would. But people have infinite reasons for conflict, and something like breaking an egg (lol Gulliver's Travels) could be the start of a civil war. People are stupid though. Peace is much better. :)

Yes!
But there be a lot of large scale pub fights! LOL

Sorry, no seriously one Country is not the same as no counties!

The root of the problem isn't really the fact of there being more than one country, it much more to do with government, ideology and greed.

War is an invevitability, due to humans being intolerant of others not like themselves. Even in the same country-Look at Iraq the Kurds where gased by their own leader, sure he was satan an all but from the same country. The same happened in former Yugoslavia to and they didn't even have satan, oh wait they did can't remember his name but they hung him and his wife. I no longer wish for peace-I wish for the horrors of current wars to be so evident to all that they serve as their own deterant.

No. There would still be civil wars. Even if it was all one state/province. Different people would want different things and then they'd form different camps, which would basically be countries. That's how we got India AND Pakistan instead of just one country.

No, remember that all the root of all evil is money. In our life in this world. Peace and war are contradicted and always present. But the term war was not only use in weapons but, some use war in technology, law, political science and some agendas. No thing is permanent in this world, the only thing that's constant is chnage. We have to change ourselves to make peace.

No, war will never stop, unfortunately, because people will never come to see things eye-to-eye. Sadly enough, there will always be something to fight over. I would love to see this type of "Utopia" but no, I don't think I will be around if it ever does happen. Just don't ever give up "imagining." That puts you on the positive side! ;)

well if the whole world was "one country" then it probably wont stop. There will still be wars and disputes about culture, religion, ways of doing things.

the only way in which there will be no war is probably gonna involve everyone being the same. clones of each other

Umm, yes. There would be no war against other nations. But there would also be an oppressive government and you would have no freedom. I'd rather have war.
