Many will argue that abortion IS murder. I will not go into that but is it better to end a life painlessly, or should the life proceed into a life of misery and a life that they aren't wanted in? Should the chick be eaten as an egg painlessly, or should we let it grow into a chicken that serves no purpose?

One can not thrive in a habitat that presents too many obstacles.

I think the most important thing to remember is that a woman must have control over her body. While embryo and then foetus cannot survive without the mother, it is the womans decision what to do with her own body.

I don't particularly like abortion, I would not want to have one but I will fight for a womans right to be in control of her own body. Each woman lives with the choices she makes, she should not live with the choice someone imposes on her.

The fact that so many men in politics in the US want to take womens rights away, is staggering and more like Iran than like a civilised secular society. The men should take care of their own bodies, or would they prefer women make up rules of what they can and cannot due with their bodies.

I can't say "right" or "wrong", people like me are kinda stuck between the 2 hammers. I don't oppose it if it's done within the 1st trimester, but agree that abortions should be banned - except rape or incest - at later stages. Definitely, partial-birth abortions are murder. I don't buy the argument that fetus is a part of woman's body which is hers to own. Her body - yes but fetus is not her body and if I am a father, I don't understand why I should't have a say in this matter.

Personally I believe abortion is wrong (No I am not some evangelical right winger). However, I feel there will never be a consensus on this issue. Overturning Roe v. Wade would just force abortions underground. Its a very tuff issue.

I beleive that the decision should be left to the mother in question. I suppose that makes me a pro choicer. then again I also believe that all other options should be considered before that choice is made. Ultimately i do not see abortion as a last resort to be murder but as the renewing of a soul
to be born later. can you follow that?

RIGHT...oh here comes more hate mail. but you know what i dont care. freedom of speech is another right. wouldnt it be better to have an abortion than to give it a harsh life...if you know you cant the baby everything it needs and you arent ready to be a parent, why give the baby a horrible life..it doesnt deserve that either..and this whole adoption thing...why dont u people stop being selfish and adopt an older child instead of HAVING TO HAVE a newborn...they need a good home too

by the way i used to be pro-life
but when put in the situation
i had to make a choice
SO pro-choice all the way.

There is no way to prove that a child will grow up miserable. If the child isn't wanted, they can be adopted, or disown their POS mother like I did.

There are plenty of miserable people on the planet, I guess they should have never been allowed to live at all, right?

Abortion is wrong! What is the difference between killing an unborn baby six months before it's born or six months after?

A child never serves no purpose. There are plenty of LOVING people that would gladly raise an UNWANTED baby!!!!!!
I am pro choice but your wording is very crude.

abortion is wrong. If u dont want a baby then use protection. If u were brave enough to have sex unprotected then u should learn to live your life with a baby. have u ever seen how they do an abortion... its horrible.

This is a very personal and private thing. Some things should be kept sacred, as in, a decision like this one being private. The decision should be available for the people who need it. I say need, this can and does mean many things.

Peace to you and yours!
