"Americans have always loved the buildings in Washington more than the people who worked there"

Unfortunately, most Americans do not consider Iraqis as people. We see them as terrorists or victims, not as everyday people with the same values as our friends, neighbors and relatives. Yet, most Iraqis are decent human beings with the same concerns, dreams, and compassion as most Americans. They want peace and are concerned about their fellow man.
They have raised money and donated it to victims of the Cal. fire.

Did you say yes? Well, of course you do. It's the American way.
Teddy Kennedy is innocent because it was not proven in court.
Michael Jackson is innocent because it was not proven in court.
O.J. is innocent of murder because it was not proven in court.
Equal justice for all.

Even, Bush. Bush is innocent, because it was not proven in court.

Some of you may or may not know about the issue with the upcoming FL primary. The state legislators moved the primary date, as a result FL Democratic votes may not count.

What can be done about this ?

I can't imagine how this man can be the president of France, yet not keep his insults to himself during a 60 MINUTES interview. I can't understand how he thinks he's so important he can't spend 5 minutes of his day to do an interview with a leading American news magazine, especially one as credible as that one. He was totally disgusting. BTW, I don't think he's as pro-American as 60 Minutes thinks, he probably just loves American movies...

New Orleans needs rebuilding
California fires (Homes need to be rebuilt)
Childcare/Healthcare
Social Security
Before we help any other country, we NEED to fix ours first.
Then we can help other countries.
And we need to quit accussing other countries of building weapons when we DO NOT know if they are building them. Remember Iraq.....Supposed to have had WMD, we killed Saddam.....What have we found? Anything?
Enough is Enough. We need a President to take care of US.

Hillary is sending emissaries around the world to let them know what US policy is going to be like when she takes over.
One of her campaign advisors just said she is prepared to tell them that she we pull out of Iraq. Does this approach aid and abet the enemy? Can they plan accordingly and just wait it out?
I just heard this on the news now so, internet sources to follow.

I asked if the left fringe would be blaming the right for the wildfires in California. I even posited a scenario on how the blame would manifest itself. Some responders accused me of various nefarious deeds. Now it turns out that my scenario and some I had never thought of are popping up all over the left blogosphere. Will I get an apology?

Who answer your questions? I do. Why are so many Liberals at home during typical work hours, but the majority of Republicans are not? Does this mean, for the most part, Liberals don't have a job?

(I work from home using my computer, so don't think any insults will affect me)

Just wondering.

Poor people are just inferior and got that way because they are lazy or dumb

People who were not smart enough or fortunate enough to be able to pay for a Dr should just die quietly

The people should be happy to work for just enough to survive on Thats all the masses are good for anyway

Setting up exonomic barriers to legal representation keeps us safer from the neanderthals that roam the streets and putting them to work while in jail makes sense they owe us labour anyway

Did JIMMY CARTER take his hand and grab a clod of peanut butter and fling it on the floor then taste test it for safety?

Candidate Edwards said no new nuclear power plants will be built if he is elected. Can anyone put forth a lucid argument against nuclear power using current design criteria? We have 30+ nuclear power plants being operated at sea with ZERO accidents(Carriers and submarines) If the USN can have a perfect safety record using high school graduates as the operators,do you really think it is that dangerous when compared to global warming being accelerated by the burning of fossel fuels for power generation?

I had asked another question about Christianity and Politics. I explained how religion and politics were not separate to first century Christians; I meant for this observation to have strong implications for the reader and my question. However, I feel many misunderstood what I was asking, so let me rephrase.

Many Christians feel the country will be better off ran by a Christian. However, it is hard to tell who is genuine, and religious beliefs do not necessarily ensure leadership and good decision-making. The question then is: should we revert (as many have) to the view that God's Kingdom needs to be manifest on this Earth and continue to vote for Christian presidents, feeling they are the best representatives of the country? Or should we except the country is based on the constitution and not the Bible and church and state are separate and vote for leaders completely regardless of their religious beliefs but because of their policies?

What would the first century Christians think?
