Don't they realize I could care less about them and this country.

I hate them so much.

I don't deny there are liberals outside of the mainstream who would want to take away gun rights.

Mainstream liberals do not.

Is it just an extreme of conservatives who believe that all liberals want to do this? Do mainstream conservatives understand that mainstream liberals don't want to do that?

I think the biggest problem in America is that there are fringes on both sides that politicans are pandering too and they paint the other sides fringe as the other sides mainstream.

... against the black man in this case.

Thomas supposedly committed a CIVIL violation by saying "pubic hair."

Clinton supposedly raped Juanita Broaddrick and Molested Kahtleen Wiley. Those are CRIMINAL FELONIES --- not civil violations.

Why do Dems love Clinton to no end but get spew hatred at Thomas, who is accused of a far less serious offense?

They went after Michael J. Fox. They went after a wounded Iraq war veteran. Now they are going after handicapped kids. There is obviously no limit to how low these people will go.

I read now that Turkey is getting ready to chase PKK rebels back into Iraq when they attack across the Turkish border. Yet the Iraqis object to partitioning their country along ethnic lines. That means that Kurdistan is still technically part of Iraq, so shouldn't the Iraqis force the PKK to disband and lay down their weapons? If they won't or can't, shouldn't the US occupation force the issue? After all, Turkey is a NATO ally.

Or do we perhaps only use terrorism as an excuse to invade when it suits our political aims of the moment?

Here are a few reasons I can think of:

The law allows people to beat their children.
People are allowed to have guns.
There is no proper social safety net.
The ethnic make-up of the population.
The educational system.
The number of religious fundamentalists.
Free-market capitalism.
Break-down of the family and family values.
Divorce and single parents.
Pornography.
Anything I'm missing?

Native Americans migrated from Asia --- all is fair in war.

We came, we saw, we conquered. We didn't steal anything. Sure, we may have used cheap tactics - but we still won.

Why do so many contine to say that we stole this land? This world has many conquered nations --- which means that they killed Natives of that territory as well.

The secular atheist liberals have this funny notion that it is the Christians who are "forcing" their views on them. The truth is that it is the other way around. With the help of the ACLU, the secular, atheist liberals are doing battle with mainstream Christian America and trying to force their atheistic views on mainstream America. This is the truth!

Tell Your Members of Congress to
Make Their Earmark Requests Public!

As reported in newspapers like USA Today, CAGW is right now waging an aggressive campaign to determine which members of Congress are willing to pay more than lip service to transparency and accountability. By letter and by phone, we have called on each member of the House and Senate to disclose the earmark requests they submitted to their respective Appropriations Committees.
To date, only 66 Representatives and two Senators have complied with our request. That’s why we need you to check here and call your elected officials if they are listed and ask them to disclose their earmark requests.
The new leadership of the 110th Congress took control in January promising the “most honest, most open, most ethical Congress in history.” We plan to hold them to their word! While House and Senate rules do not require members of Congress to make their earmark requests available to the public, Americans deserve to know on which pet projects their elected representatives would lavish their hard-earned tax dollars.

Transparency is a vital first step toward eliminating the tens of billions of dollars spent on congressional earmarks annually and ending the “culture of corruption” that earmarking breeds.
Help us promote transparency and accountability by calling your elected officials today and asking them to release their earmark requests. And then tell us whether they responded YES or NO!

CAGW is publishing the responses of members of the House and Senate on our website, as well as the lists of earmark requests provided by members.

So why waste your time over which side is spending more? Why not take the time to find out for yourselves and do something about it? I’ve placed my requests because I WANT to know. Will you?
