as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
The other night when i was getting drunk in a Holiday Inn in Miami i came outside to puke when i noticed an American man kicking his car because it wouldnt start, he shouted"This car is garbage" and at this point i thought enough is enough.I punched him so hard 3 of teeth broke. As i resumed my drinking i reflected on the above question.

Far from being worn down bye the past few years, Bush seems empowered. His self-confidence is the most remarkable feature of his presidency. It's so clear to me, i have trouble understanding why it is unclear to everybody else.

no this is not a joke,if u think they are right wing nuts why are the democrat presidential nominees talking at a convention for the daily kos.is there any group of people more hatefull than that far left smear site.why no uproar from the left,is it beacuse they are scared to offend the far left causing that base to turn on them and lose votes.if rudy guliani spoke at a david duke convention it would be all over the liberal bias media every day 24/7 and we all know it.daily kos is no different,so if thats the suppeort democrats want why not a ticket of limbaugh-coulter?

I know that our president has made some unpopular decisions, but why is it necessary to call him out on his faults. I'd like to see some of these Bush bashers take over for a few months and watch them get burned out under all the pressure. It's not his fault that he can't please everyone. If it were Kerry, someone would be bashing him too! I'm not saying that we should agree whole heartedly with every word that comes out of the president's mouth, but shouldn't the president be respected because of the position he fills?

We COMPLAIN about ABORTION being leagle BUT don't want to SAVE the LIVES of the CHILDREN we ALREADY have. Why don't we IMPROVE the QUALITY of LIFE for the CHILDREN we ALREADY have then MAYBE mother's WILL NOT consider ABORTION because things will be BETTER for CHILDREN. There was a lady whose child died of cancer even though she had medical insurance because the insurance only covered full time students. But having cancer she couldn't be a full time student. So the insurance company just let her die. We can't make up the excuse that sick children dying is God's will because God is the giver of life and the Devil is the giver of Death and disease. So don't pull that one. Also, I think it's selfish to say that you don't want your tax dollars to pay for someone els. That is so unChristian. JESUS gave everybody all he had.

After someone told me my political views lined up with Jefferson Davis, I was offended. I believe in strictly adhering to the constitution, I believe in small federal government...the South argued that Davis wanted too big of a central govt in the South, I am a republican, he was democrat. I am conservative, he was an idiot. I do NOT support slavery of course, though I think back then it was better to be a slave than a free black bc at least you were guaranteed shelter and food. Nothing that I know of Davis even comes CLOSE to this. What planet is this woman that told me my politics resemble his on? Is she a wacko? It doesn't sound like I align with Davis, right?

options that we have? As far and pretaining to the characteristic of somebody who is not scared of going to war if we have to but who isn't necessarily a war monger either? I'm afraid since Bushes politics that if a democrat is President that he or she would not go to war no matter the cost or the potential risk another country could post. Now, before I am labled let me give a small back drop on opinion of the war right now. I hate that we are at war with Iraq, I hate that we ever went to war with them, I thought it was a bad idea from the beginning even lacking then, the knowlegde of what little really did not know, going in there so culturally naive. BUT... that being said. I don't agree with what got us there and us being there, I feel as though, we can't leave now and that we have to try to peace together literally the pottery that we have broken there, not just for their sake but for our future security as well. So.. who is a likely candidate for this position or future ....

do you realize in all your infinite wisdom that you actually NEED a livable environment to work in, to make the ALMIGHTY DOLLLLLARRRRRRR and to send your kiddies to school, take vacations to a place that is possibly still beautiful now, have FOOD TO EAT, etc. etc. Hey conservatives, since you go by that name (conservatives), why don't you ACTUALLY CONSERVE SOMETHING FOR ONCE?!?!?! That would be a novel idea. God knows you don't conserve money, a proper education, people's rights according to the Constitution, etc.

Should Barack Obama get in their face and tell them what he thinks or is Hillary right, that you can't talk to them for at least a year?
A year would be plenty of time for the new administration to get a handle on what they wanted to say to these "rogue nations".
Obama is willing to discuss things with them right away.
Is this a bold new style of diplomacy and leadership as Barack believes or foolhardy and the result of a lack of experience as Hillary asserts?
What do you do in your own life if you have a problem with someone? Do you go talk to them about it or do you avoid them?
