I would give him advice: Don't go to work for Walmart as most of their workers aren't offered health insurance & the ones that do can't afford it because they're so greedy...

Let him try to get by just like other poor folks. Offer to show him where the food assistance is, how to sign up for medicaid.

I'd point him to the nearest boot store so he could "pick himself up by the boot straps." and then I would tell him its "going to be hard work", and that he shouldn't complain about being poor because "just because a person is poor doesn't mean that they are killers". the coup de tat would be we I say "The Lord helps those who help themselves." and then double over in laughter at the irony of the whole thing.

Hey Michael da Man. You think 6 hours for a half awake doctor is bad. Look what socialist countries do (that's what liberals want), they make you call a hotline and diagnose you over the phone. Then if it's bad enough you go in and see a doctor, any doctor. Maybe a doctor who's never seen your history or anything. Maybe a doctor who isn't really a doctor but likes to think he is. And the wait is incredibly long. You think health care is bad here. We got it golden.

I'd advise them to go to the nearest hospital emergency room when they get sick and wait 6 hours to see an overworked and half awake doctor.

The advice that he should get himself off of the government's teet, get a job, and pull himself up by his bootstraps.

Then I'd laugh until it hurt.

This is the greatest country on earth right so we should at least be able to take care of them when they get sick and be able to use ANYTHING and EVERYTHING available to get them back in good health.
