as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
As the British still own the USA i believe we should use our power to prevent Americans having freedom of speech. Most Americans cannot even talk properly and stringing a sentance together is also very difficult for them to master.
Lets prevent this and say no to freedom of speech in the USA until they have learnt English a little better.
Anyone agree?

in 1948 jews attacked palestine and forced the palestinians out of their lands and settled themselves. what would you feel if an enemy attacks your country, kills your family and forces you out of your country. iran is fighting to bring the palestinians back to their homes, is that bad. it is just like france 1940, hezbollah and hams are like the maquis and iran and syria are like the allies. DONT BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU, SEE THE TRUTH. put your self as a palestinian.

When asked the question "how many of you took private or charter jets to the debate tonight" (paraphrasing)...I believe all but one candidate slowly and sheepishly raised their hands.

Mr. Mike Gravel alone spoke up and said that he took...

A TRAIN.

Sure, he was frightfully angry for the whole debate, and hardly asked any questions, but you have to give the man some credit for acknowleging the incredible sexy that is the train.

So I guess the question is, does being a high powered political leader with a busy schedual make private jets ok, or should they take a little extra time and lead by example? What do you think is an appropriate tradeoff between time efficiency and environmental stewardship, especially coming from people who claim to want to lead us in the right direction?

God wants to save me

The governmet wants my money and my unquestioned support Stragely god wants those things to

Both the government and god - want money obiedience acceptance of thier morality and more money -

Both god and the government have an enemy - they both need to fight them

In the US god is fighting the devil and the government is fighting the terrorists

Why is it that god and the government want the same things all the time from me

Maybe they are the same institution filled with the same types of men who want to control everyone and everthing and the only difference is

Marketing -

God do what I say or go to hell now

Government do what I say - or go to jail right now

Death gets you out of the governmets hands

Death puts you right into gods hands

No wonder these two agencies work together -

Do what I say or jail now and hell later - Hmmm thats really convientient isn't it ?

By defination a liberal is the one who challenges the norm and a conservative who follows the norm. In 2000 election there was Gore who was for doing the same thing last three president did. Avoid wars, use diplomacy, save social security (remember the lockbox) and stuff. On the other hand here Bush was with some radical Ideas like investing social security, and big tax cuts and leave no child behind school vouchers. I mean those were not conservative ideas. Based on this point of if you could please tell me what makes Bush a conservative and Gore a liberal.

...the US is just debating legalizing Civil Unions and even trying to have gay marriage/civil unions banned?

How does that make us, the US, look as a country of equality on the international playing field?

Mass crime and anarchy leading to exploding prisons and an over burdened welfare state in jail , that would ultimately double the taxes required to pay for all those jailers and courts etc - If you think tax is bad now because of welfare what do you think would happen to your taxes if you cut them off and 90 % ended up in jail ?

Or would they all collectively go "crap" now that the free rides over better get a job and fix this ?

On another foreign policy topic, Biden said he would send 2,500 U.S. troops to Darfur to try to end the civil war there. It took three tries to get Clinton to answer the same questions. She finally said U.S. ground troops don't belong in the fight because they are overextended in Iraq.

She also refused to call herself a liberal. "I prefer the word progressive, which has a real American meaning ...," she said.

What's a "progressive"?
