I'm not sure on the exact figure but I do know the illegal invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq is not only costing you in money big time but it is costing you in any credibility the US might have had before the invasion.

Do the math.

It was 4 billion per month (in 2002) = 4000 million per 30 days = 130 million per day [first link]

It was 6 billion per month (in 2004) = 200 million per month. [second link]

Most current (2007) estimates are at least 9 billion per month, which is 300 million per day or 12 million per hour or 200 thousand per minute. [third link, US govt source]

Its closer to $300 million. And that's NOT counting deferred costs--log term medical costs for disable dveterans, replacing worn out equipment, etc.
