God wants to save me
The governmet wants my money and my unquestioned support Stragely god wants those things to
Both the government and god - want money obiedience acceptance of thier morality and more money -
Both god and the government have an enemy - they both need to fight them
In the US god is fighting the devil and the government is fighting the terrorists
Why is it that god and the government want the same things all the time from me
Maybe they are the same institution filled with the same types of men who want to control everyone and everthing and the only difference is
Marketing -
God do what I say or go to hell now
Government do what I say - or go to jail right now
Death gets you out of the governmets hands
Death puts you right into gods hands
No wonder these two agencies work together -
Do what I say or jail now and hell later - Hmmm thats really convientient isn't it ?

Don't you feel like a hot stuff. Everybody wants something from you and the end all you get is promise. Well I love God, He has given me a good life a loving family and his taxes are doesn't hurt as much. Plus you have an option you can fight for God or you don't. Government you don't get any options plus they take a third of it every month, then they charge you stuff you buy, if you have a child or if you die, if you move or if you do anything. Think about it God gives you a life and government tax you for it.

My poor chased friend. You have two choices to rid yourself of being wanted so much by the US Gov and God. First: become a priest. By doing so, the Gov will give up on you since they have no way of enforcing their need for you and your wealth. God will no longer chase you because he has caught you. Win-Win.
Second: Join the US Marine Corps. God will not chase a "killer." so bye bye God. The US gov will have you in their sights no more. Now with your "killer" status, everyone will fear you. Thus the great fear you demonstrated in your question will be gone.

The difference is, God has never demanded anything from anyone. He gives you a choice. The Government takes without asking, and tells you what you will do, and how you will live, and incarcerate you for not following.

Read the Bible...and the U.S. Constitution... You will find that not only do they "get along" quite well... but that they are Both grossly misused, misquoted, twisted to suit the flavor of the day etc... Your question indicates to me a hunger for knowledge.. Perhaps you should quench that hunger with source based facts and not third person innuendo and commentary... Good luck...

Well maybe you should reject all that they ask for...also all that they offer...
God-Eternal Salvation/inner peace whatever...
Government-Safety/Streets/education/fire depts/ etc
Your version is a bit extreme as neither God or the Government has threatened me today.

Ok...interesting thought I suppose. I think John Milton kinda struck at that a little in Paradise Lost, but that might have just been my interpretation. That book bored me.

Because according to Society's "Plan", -Your "Soul" is God's, and your "***"- is the Govenment's. And if you DON'T bow down & pay homage to one or the other, you're going to go to the "Bronx"- in a handbasket..! So make your CHOICE: bad- or worse! :)
