What's crazy is that these Iraqi law makers really don't show up for work anyways. Many of them skip work routinely and when they do come to work they talk about raising their pay. And they need vacation? They have been on vacation for last 4 years. It's stupid.

It is around 140 degrees daily right now in Iraq. My fiancee and several friends have just gotten back from Iraq. The Iraqi Parliment isn't really thinking of the best interests of Iraq in general at the moment.

I've heard the ONLY place on the Planet that's hotter than Phoenix, AZ (where I live) in August (where it's usually between 105 & 110), is Baghdad, Iraq (where it's between 110 & 115- and there's small arms fire, in the shade). So can you BLAME the Iraqi Parliment for not wanting to "go out" & grapple with the heat stroke & machinegun fire on their way into work every day? I mean, JUST because Bush won't let our Guys come home for a few extra weeks in the Summer- doesn't mean the Iraqi Politicons have to keep working...-Does it? :(
