I'm neither Republican nor Democrat, and I think Kerry deflected attention away from the real issues.

He has cleared his schedule for the week. The democrats don't want him and the republicans never did. I wonder what excuses he will come up with next!

the terrorists themselves have said they want to kill all americans or covert us to islam...but libs/dems still focus on hating Bush and not fight the enemy...

John Kerry went to vietnam not because he wanted to join the military or believed in it, he just wanted to put it on his resume so he can run for politics. He and all liberals despise the military, they want to dismantle it, and also they don't believe in going to war in any circumstance. That is why Mr. Kerry said what he said, degrading our Military Soldiers, and also that is why he threw his own medals away.

Talk about politics, rather than rehashing John Kerry, Mark Foley, MJ Fox, Rush Limbaugh, and bash-Bush? Does anyone here have the ability to discuss the elections based on ISSUES? Lets see some honest to Buddha partisan DEBATE people, the name calling bull$hit is getting old.

I mean, he's done nothing but betray conservatives so far. He's increased federal spending and created an enormous deficit. He got America bogged down in foreign "nation building," when he promised he would never do anything of the sort.

He also betrayed social conservatives. He hasn't done anything to stop abortion or gay marriage. Absolutely nothing. It's like he just keeps stringing conservatives along, and they keep supporting him, even though he does nothing in their interest.

How long until they start catching on???

if Bush fires Rumsfeld, will that be enough to change his legacy?
I mean if America sees him trying to change his ways, would that help him or hurt him?

Republicans only care about the wealthy and powerful (ie big multinational corp) and Democrats (especially their leaders) are lame and often hypocritical. The Democratic and Republican are POLITICAL parties just like the Nazi Party, Fasces Party of Italy, and Communist Party of the USSR. They can't be trusted. They gave us Watergate, the Vietnam War, and Abscam. They also have a monopoly on government powers.

These are only their good points! A politician can not help you he or she can only hurt you. Who makes money (over $1 billion) from all those sleazy campaign ads? Big Media companies that are supposed to give us the news!
We need a new party the American Party not like those Libertarian losers. Am I right or what?
BTW I'm the Chairman of the new American Party.

"The firebombing of the Marseille bus raised a national cry of indignation. It was the most vicious in a series of bus burnings around the Oct. 27 anniversary of the start of fiery riots a year ago" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061102/ap_on_re_eu/france_suburban_violence

We all know who did this, but they believe they have a right to their idea of a religious state, so doesnt the argument that leftists use to excuse Jihadist violence also apply here or is France just to precisious for leftists to apply the "freedom fighting" standard equitiably?

Call me crazy, but I just never ever equated terrorism with "freedom fighting"? How can attacks, only meant to kill civilians imply freedom ever? Arent those civilians the people who these supposed freedom fighters are trying to free?

Leftists...let me ask you...the next time you dub terrorists "freedom fighters", can you at least poll the terrorised area to see if the people want this freedom of the terrorists?

France is f****d
