Seems that what's going on in Yahoo Answers is not much different from what's going on out in the "real world" of politics these days, especially with Election day looming. I am tired of seeing the candidates rip each other apart on tv commercials, already. But here on-line....sometimes it's just a dandy place to practice the fine art of sarcasm and shake off the stress of the day.

AMEN TO THAT!
I consider our current president the best this country has until someone BETTER comes along. Running this country is nearly impossible these days, and you're always under the microscope.
Therefore, let's help the guy out instead of all this unwarranted criticism. If you're a Democrat you'll get your turn later.
Who here could have predicted the level of insurgency in Iraq. Instead of blaming Bush for his "poor handling of Iraq", lets give some of that blame to the insurgents who are making life miserable for Americans AND native Iraqis, and find a way to drive them out of Iraq so we can go back to helping this country out.

Amen to that! I am so sick of everyone thinking and spouting off about how perfect their party is and how misguided and moronic the other side is. What ever happened to honest respectful debate and discussion? If we'd just open our eyes and especially our MINDS for a minute we might just find some common ground.
Or do you all prefer to act like children instead of adults?

Amen and amen, brother! I don't think it is possible to stay focused on issues anymore. People are so easily distracted by crap they are unable to get past the partisanship and sleight of hand and talk about real issues instead of all this hogwash about Kerry, Michael J Fox and Rush Limbo.

I'm not sure if Yahoo Answers is really an ideal forum for indepth analysis and debate of the issues. But if you want to try, you have to set the topic.

What you have observed is what passes for partisan debate these days. Do you expect this section to be more civilized than the US Congress?

in spite of the indisputable fact that the bigger question will be -- would doxies be pertaining to a mistress or doctrine? because both might want to artwork. i'm more effective prone imagine of it as mistress. in basic terms more effective interesting. -- and likely I had to seem that up.. at first i presumed you've been speaking about weiner dogs. i wager in the adventure that they were lady that would want to artwork to.

Sadly, this is what American politics has degenerated into. Thanks for the reality check, but I think we are living in a new political reality and I don't expect that it will get any better.
Hey "Action" you make a great point, I will try to keep that in mind after '08, since I suspect the Dems will get their turn then. Good post.

George W Bush invaded a country and lost a war, and he is blaming the Democrats,,, Osama bin Laden is still free to train Taliban terrorists,, the deficit is the largest in history,, 15 million illegal immigrants are waiting for amnesty or Haliburton to build a 700 mile fence on the Mexican border,, a Republican gay congresman is a child predator,, they hide him out in rehab,,, and lie to cover-up the facts,, the world hates the USA,,, America has been compromised

well, its kinda what it degenerates too because we think their policies are wrong for the country, they think our policies are wrong for the country, so when you've exhausted a point, everything gets reduced to bashing and laughs.
