I hear alot of people say that republicans are more for religion than democrats. I have also heard that many Dems. are wanting to do away with Christianity. Well, personally I think that is exaggerated to the extreme. I see no evidence of Democrats wanting to take away religious freedoms. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I'm just saying you need to think about what you say before you say it! After awhile all this mudslinging just gets old! Everyone wants to slander the president no matter what party he's from and no matter how hard he tries to do good for his country. I suffered miserably because I worked in a factory with people who listened to Rush Limbaugh and everyday it was Clinton and Lewinsky! And Now its Bush and Iraq. It just gets old you know?

WASHINGTON - Former Federal Reserve Chairman ALAN GREENSPAN said on Thursday both private investors and central bank were shifting away from the U.S. dollar and toward the euro.

"We're beginning to see some move from the dollar to the euro, both from the private sector ... but also from monetary authorities and central banks," Greenspan told a conference sponsored by the Commercial Finance Association.

Some people get hostile in protecting their free speech, then try to deny it to those who disagree w/ them.
They will pass over very profane answers, then cowardly hit the abuse button on their political enemies, trying to get them off this site.
They don't have a good come back, so they run to tell the teacher. Are these people going to turn this site into a meeting place for sissies?

Hugo Chavez is one of the most threatening figures in the world today. Fidel Castro is grooming Chavez to replace him at Latin America's premier anti-USA tyrant and dictatorial madman. He came here on US soil and called our President a "devil". This is an outrage! Chavez's growing ties to Iran have prompted U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to brand him a threat to hemispheric stability.

In his own country, corruption and crime have grown rampant. He is an authoritarian militarist and demagogue who has failed to deliver on his promises, violated fundamental human rights, meddled in the affairs of other Latin American countries, threatened Venezuela's economy and democracy, and destabilized global oil prices. Venezualan civil rights organization Súmate's Vice-President María Corina Machado alleged that Chávez had "profoundly damaged Venezuela's democratic institutions".

Shouldn't their boss be the one who gives them a pay raise? Our boss gives us a pay raise, so it doesn't make sense that they can raise their own pay when the average worker can not. Since, by the constitution, the people elect them, thus like the boss, shouldn't the people be allowed to choose their pay?

"Mr. Wolfowitz spent much of the hearing knocking down published estimates of the costs of war and rebuilding, saying the upper range of $95 billion was too high, and that the estimates were almost meaningless because of the variables. Moreover, he said such estimates, and speculation that postwar reconstruction costs could climb even higher, ignored the fact that Iraq is a wealthy country, with annual oil exports worth $15 billion to $20 billion. "To assume we're going to pay for it all is just wrong," he said."

We're definately being led by the right people. Or is that misled by the wrong people?

USA support tyranical regimes to safeguard the oil in the middle east and will go to war to protect it. China invest in africa selling military arms to african states including warlords to secure the rights to drill for oil in their lands. USA talks a good game about doing what is right, but when the threat to its oil needs, USA will forego what is moral or right, forego methods that are unpleasant like supporting genocide in sudan, and tyranical governments, for its own security including security to have free flowing oil markets. Another thing is I often here american journalist call the chinese government operate under bribes. Well, hello!!! The US congress and executive branch also operate under legal extortion and bribes called lobbyist paid vacations and golf trips. White people are no better in recieving perks legal or not, it is the same as bribery. Calling it a different name does not make it better.

Most democrats say that they support abortion not because they believe in it but that they don't have the right to tell a woman what they can or can't do with their own body. They say that they stand up for peoples rights but the truth is that they only defend you if they agree with you. For instance do democrats defend my right to own a gun, drive a gas guzzling suv, protect my children from sex offenders? Even the water that my toilet uses is dictated by a law that they thought up to take my rights. It seems to me that democrats hide behind this image that they are the party that will stick up for my rights when in fact they are systematically trying to take them all away. Does anyone else see this hypocrisy?
