Cheney states the use of' 'Waterboarding' a form of torture is acceptable and Bush claims torture of any kind is never used.

I have followed the revisions for the past forty or fifty years in person. I know Kevin Phillips' The Emerging Republican Majority very well.

But when and why did the Republican Party become identified as the party of corporate America? And the Democrats as the party of the working class and the poor? How did the Democratic Party become the home of the Solid South; hence, associated with racist "states' rights"? And how did Teddy Roosevelt's reforms of Big Business and Eisenhower's warning against the military/industrial complex, originate within the Republican Party.

I'm looking for a good book (or books) that might address such questions as these.

can you give me actual facts of one "good thing" and one "bad thing" that both Clinton and Bush have done during their presidency.

DO NOT mention anything about Clinton's Impeachment becuase that had nothing to do with his job as president.

I want hardcore actions that bettered the country please.

This is a political science project that i am doing.

1. Every day there are news reports of more deaths.

2. We see images of death and destruction on TV every night.

3. We took this land by force; occupied it.

4. Many of our children go there but never come back.

5. Mureders, rapists, pedophiles and thugs enjoy celebrity status.

6. Their government is unstable.

7. Many of their people are uncivilized.

8. Their land is subject to natural disasters and we are obliged to come to their aid.

9. They have more than 100 religious sects which we do not undersrand.

10. Their cultures, foods and diverse ways of life are unfathomable to most ordinary Americans.

11. They cannot secure their borders.

Isn't it now quite clear?

We must pull out of California right NOW!

i'm not a fan of bush myself, but for crissakes i'm so sick of the same old tired rantings. i can't turn on the tv, radio, or computer without hearing some anti bush rhetoric. liberals try to blame him personally for EVERYTHING. someone slips on a banana peel they'll blame bush. why can't they just come out and admit it. theyre still mad over losing the last two elections. all this anti bush rhetoric is just a push to regain power. any idiot can figure that out. and please do me and yourself a favor and don't list off his "failures" i've seen them a jillion times. and for the record, i don't listen to rush so don't use that excuse. all this ranting about bush reminds me of a child throwing a tantrum for not getting his way. like how they act when their mom sends them to their room. why can't we just let things run their course and stop all this childish ranting?
