poverty canno't be demolished. poverty can be eliminated. gelected governments, policy makers, economists have been trying to reduce the poverty level. in some countries through systematic and concrete policy decisions poverty can be eliminated. it requires two pronged strategies. every individual have to work hard to improve his financial position. from the governmentside also some stretegies are necessary. demolition of poor people is not the solution. i think demolition is not the correct word.

you are from UP right that's why you use word demolition for everything. you can say Eradication of poverty. In capitalist countries like india it will be very difficult to eradicate poverty. Because see rich people are most rich , like lot of takurs in your locality. This people exploit poor people and get more money , then keeps poor people serving for them . They dont want to pay poor people. In indian villages if you take 50 families , 95 % of the land will be with 3 -5 families and rest all 45 families will serve for them. This is how our society is. These 5 families will use 45 families to fetch wealth for them and will never allow them to come up. One of those 5 family members will stand in election and all 45 family people will vote for them. Otherwise they will not allow them to work in their land.
This system will never change unless until issues related to social inequalities are addressed properly by the government. Now let us say from above example if one of the guy from the aforesaid 5 families elected as member of parliament will they dig their own grave by enacting a rule in favour of these poor people.
I hope you can imagine the whole situation.

We are trying to demolish the poverty since the beginning of the civilisation. We have yet to achieve our goal.
It is a relative thing, and is it achievable or not is a good Q?. Yet we must not give up on our goal and try hard and harder to achieve it, we have nothing to loose but the poverty.
demolition of the poor people?
My answer is never, reason it is a relative thing.
Individually it is state of mind. A person with million dollars in the bank may feel poor when he finds out that his bother has billions.
On the other hand ..........,a billi............. may feel poor because ....

congress party when ever is in power has a systematic way of increasing poverty. Increase the fuel cost, all commodity cost will increase automatically. The higher the cost lower will go the purchasing power. More number of poor and few number of rich.
This has been going on for the past 60 years since Independence, yet there are sufficient fools in India who vote for congress carried away by its anti poverty slogans and fraudulent schemes.

poverty can be eliminated once there is a corruption free system but the present day situation is very different.at each and every stage in life the poor are suppressed.worst is the case of the middle class who can neither say anything nor can they bear the ever increasing burden of taxes.hope this congress govt and specially our Finance minister realise this.
