Why are all the races highly contested?

2006-10-27 13:34:05 · 12 answers · asked by John 3

I am a Democrat. I favor unions, living wages and education. I believe we should bear arms if we do so responsibly and I believe in a balanced budget. I served in the Marine Corps in a place far far away. I support our troops. I just don't support the reasons for our being in Iraq. Why is common ground so hard to find? We all, basically, want the same things: A strong vibrant nation that we can all be proud of with employment and opportunity for all.

Just be disbanded, and placed somewhere else? Let's face it, a TON of people hate Jews, so I am wondering if maybe Isreal should have been placed somewhere else then where it was placed. I am pretty sure, that this country has contributed to American hatred, since the US wanted Isreal there. is there some reason for this? What are your thoughts?

Why should we give politicians unlimited oppurtunities to destroy our country? Some politicians are becoming Senile in office and yet they are reelected. A six year term would allow the voters the chance to have control of our country. Govt by the people and for the people instead of by the politician and for the highest bidder.

I mean, if you look at American media - it's full of jews! Hollywood studios, newspaper owners, television controllers and even the government! There's an estimate of 5 million Jews in the USA and they account for less than 2% than the population of the USA. Why do most of them have such 'powerful' jobs? Do they control on what we see in the media? Are Jew's slowly trying to make the White race extinct?

With over 407,000 military deaths, we just should of cut and run.
Or better yet, try talking to our enemies and see if we can "work it out"

Isn't that the Democratic "foreign affairs" policy?

I don't care where you stand on the issue of stem celled research to accuse a sick person of acting sick is sick in itself. I think we should allow stem cell research to continue so people like Rush are aborted contributing to society rather than hurting society.

Conservatives argue that welfare programs like TANF make people dependent, and we need to give them limited time or no support in order to make them stand on their own two feet.

We've now been in Iraq longer than we were in WW2. Isn't an open-ended committment there bad, by the conservative logic given above?
