If that's what it takes to get the job done, then I support that. You know it's just not soldiers walking the streets over there, being in constant danger, etc. There are many many areas where they are needed. Yet everybody thinks when we send more troops, we're sending them to their death sentence or something.

Probably because we need 150,000 more so 20,000 is a start, most generals said we would need over 300,000 troops when we first invaded and they were forced to resign.

McCain has lost it. I had alot of respect for him in the past, but now he's just saying what he thinks will get him the vote. It's quite sad.

I think it is a bad idea. McCain will be a good presidential candidte. Moderate enough.

His opinion must be respected on military matters. However I haven't heard this from the commanders involved.
