While painful to watch, it was important that we got to see the true soul....of Rush Limbaugh.

I haven't read the answers yet but you will get personally attacked for this one. They are wrong and should side with you and condemn Rush for saying such a thing, and I am sure that there will be some fallout to Rush. However for some odd reason people listen to him, I have never understood why until now. They are idiots, they have no morals, no scruples and no idea what it is to not have your health. I wouldn't wish Parkinson's on any body but if they had to for one day go though what Michael J. Fox goes though, none of them, no none, zero, zilch, notta. Would have anything to say bad about him ever again. Even the great, grand azzhole repuglican entertainer would wince at being in that condition, much less to come out in public for it. Michael J. Fox and I will never see the benefits of this research as it is too late for us. But it is something that we need to do to cure many of these inflections on humans. Maybe it won't even work out but we need to explore it as an important research tool.

You are totally correct it is sick to make fun of the sick like rush and you know when i make fun of bush or coulter i kinda feel guilty picking on the retarded too. And Republicans said hire the handicapped laws would never work. HA!!!! Also, just for the record rightie loons they are not using embryos they are BLASTOSIS (?spelling) microscopic cells and these are created at invro fertilization clinics and if not used for research will be thrown in the TRASH now by your logic it is better to put a "embryo" in the garbage than to use for helping mankind.

i'm thinking (like rush) that this is political. Rush wouldn't care about this or even mention it, unless it had to do with politics and guess what? Nov. 4th is only a few days away!
I like Michael J Fox and i empathize with is family and HIM for his disease and the toll it takes on everyone. I think he's a fantastic actor and i grieve that he has become so sick.
However, i feel about him as a person, if he is off his meds and possibley (just possibly) using this as a tactic to get votes for one side of the partisan, than i say "shame on him" and any other celebrity for using their disabilities to score votes (for either sides - rep or dem). Noone will really know what MJF was doing and what his motivations were for, but hey, isn't it our (or Rush's) right to keep check on these things? I certainly think we all have a right to question motivations when voting time comes near.

He morally can't. Fox is sick, but not as sick as Limbaugh is. Time and time again, he has been mean, rude and downright nasty to people. Michael J Fox said that the tremors were actually a by-product of the meds. That's true. Speaking of stem cell research, I believe that it needs to continue at a higher pace. The promises of it outweigh the cons of "killing" a fetus. (I don't believe that it "kills" it anyways.) Rush Limbaugh is just plain wrong.

Rush is nothing but a hatemonger. He makes his living off of stirring up hate and getting people worked up. It's his living, just like a professional wrestler trash talks other wrestlers then hangs out with them after the night is over.
He's a joke and has wasted his life. He has only upset people. He is on the same level as a drug peddler, catering to people's weaknesses.

Because Limbaugh is a lot like Bush - doesn't have a working brain cell in the space between his ears and is totally incapable of having an intelligent thought. And like Bush, he opens his mouth to speak before thinking - assuming he's even capable of that process - and spews out garbage. Limbaugh should be diagnosed with Parkinson's and then he could find out the truth. It would be a suitable punishment for such an ******.

well this sick person should not be entering the political battle field if he does not want to have his miss leading statements challenged,if there was any such promise on stem cell research, private research capital would be available from the pharmaceutical industry, and venture capital groups, looking to make huge profits from any discovery's,but their is none,so what does that tell you, they want to stick their hand into the taxpayer pocket for something that has no promise,if this were not true private investors would be lined up around m.j.foxs block, with fist full of cash!

wow... it took only 3 minutes for the ditto heads to come out in force.... do these people sit around wating for a question about rush limbaugh to pop up so they can spread their hatred of all things non-conservative?
as for the points you cowards made - Fox was not off his meds for the commercial (the fact that he went before congress off his medication doesn't have anything to do with this commercial).... if you brainless pieces of trash had a brain in your head you'd know that he was exhibiting classic symptoms of the disease he has had since 1991. he's only going to get worse his whole life - and you people think it's right to accuse him of FAKING IT?!!?!? THAT IS SICK. Seriously, you people make me sick. You all deserve to die a slow painfull death from parkinson's or MS...

First, Rush originally accused Fox of being off of his medication or acting. Where would Rush get the idea that maybe he was acting? Gee.....maybe because Fox is an actor.
Now apparently it's because Fox was overmedicated. Whichever? When someone makes a political ad, the opposition is allowed to respond. Just because Fox is suffering from an illness does not make him untouchable when he enters the political realm.
