To disprove this, watch the 2004 debates. Kerry had facts at his command and remained cool and controlled. Bush was so unaccustomed to not having a room full of ***-lickers that he became peevish and defensive, even talking to himself ('let me finish!').

The rank and file of both parties contain ordinary human beings who are both rational and non rational. However, one party's elite is more self interested, more incompetent and dirtier than the other.

If you're really a conservative like you pretend to be, then at least get your history straight: Conservatism is about practicality, not idealism. You're an overrationalist liberal. NEXT!

you mean all those rational Republican arguments of calling everyone "terrorist" and "un-American"... when they can't defend their posts?
and the "rational" argument of "just because Iraq is in the middle east and those that attacked us were from the middle east... they must have had something to do with it"
both sides are very emotive and not very rational... the Republicans just seem to be mostly angry when they show their emotions...

Republicans are Rational and Democrats are touchy-feely, anyone who does not believe it should look at how touchy-feely Slick Willy was.
